Arua City Executive Committee, Ayivu Division Mayor and ACAV monitored EU-funded #SUIDAC projects at Onduparaka and Ociba Primary Schools and the Dadamu demonstration farm.
SUIDAC is funded by the European Union and implemented by Cities Alliance hosted by UNOPS.

UPDATE: Uganda has transitioned from the Tax Identification Number (TIN) system to using National Identification Numbers (NINs) for tax registration, in a reform aimed at raising the country’s tax-to-GDP ratio from 14% to 20%. URA Commissioner General John Musinguzi says the move will help curb duplication and tax evasion. URA will also begin nationwide registration of businesses using applicants’ fingerprints. The programme was launched Tuesday by Internal Affairs Minister Ephraim Kamuntu at the NIRA My Identity Expo and Symposium 2026 at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala.

KfW today met Arua City leaders and NWSC to review progress on the UGX 90bn Climate Resilient Project Arua. The project covers waste management, drainage, sanitation, urban planning, water supply, sewerage and Enyau River restoration, strengthening climate resilience in Arua.
