“and centered on a golden palace of towering copper pillars. The King, resting peacefully at the heart of the palace, listened closely to every melody and every note coming from every corner of the empire.“
this one is a reach and speculation but when you are talking to fontaine katheryne they gonna said this about them looking like “a masterpiece of the fontaine research institute”
alain piece title in marechaussee hunter set is masterpiece’s overture👀
Addressing the elephant in the room, I will first talk about the Mary-Ann-nette theory. This has been a pretty popular theory, and there are a few versions circulating.
To be clear, my version of this theory is not suggesting that Mary-Ann Guillotin is Sandrone/Marionette. (2/37)
saying he once saw that it could achieve what the ancient peoples' golems could not
Exhibit E: The clothes of the big mek are similar to the clothes/uniform of the person who we are assuming to be Alain Guillotin in the cutscene in Neuvillette’s Story Quest. (9/37)
@theanemonene if this place supposed to be his place though.
from the references of the song, seems like basil likes to sing with them while they are still in the narzissenkreuz institute
@arucchinos I was going to include that but I feel like the theory was strong enough alr. But, speaking of Masterpiece Overture...
Alain doesn't really have music theme. At least I can't remember him having that theme outside of "Masterpiece Overture"...and then music is a Remuria theme.
that Rene inserted and the Elynas’s blood that he drank. Unless, the primordial water that Egeria inserted into Oceanids can nullify the Abyssal matters. Until this premise has more evidence backing it up, I won’t fully buy into Oceanids-people = Neohumans yet. (31/37)
If that is the case, that means Oceanid people must be able to withstand Abyssal effects. However, Oceanids themselves are elemental, which means they are incompatible. That means, if Jakob was an Oceanid-person, his Oceanid part would disagree with the Abyssal part (30/37)
We also know that this theme stretches to Narzisssenkreuz lore, as Jakob also talked about “ancient golems” in his log and Narzissenkreuz talked about transferring consciousness in Enigmatic Note (XII). Narzissenkreuz also wanted to take a peek inside 4ACV07, (8/37)
the signs that something had been built. Until now, we still don’t know for certain what the thing that was built was.
Exhibit D: We already know soul-transferral is a thing in Fontaine lore, dating from the Remuria era at least. (7/37)
For example, the Assault Specialist Mek is based on Carter, his assistant and the Recon Log Mek is likely based on the dog his sister had as a child.
Exhibit C: We know that when Alain Guillotin died, all people found in his personal workshop were (6/37)
Save for the slightly longer hair strands at the front, Mary looks almost identical to the young Mary-Ann.
Exhibit B: Alain Guillotin’s main research focus is mechanical robots, and he has a track record of creating meks based people he loved. (5/37)
Alain transferred his consciousness into the big mek to follow the new “Mary-Ann”.
For now, I will call the little girl mek “Mary” to differentiate her from “Mary-Ann”, “Ann,” and “Maryris”.
Exhibit A: Mary and Mary-Ann have similar appearances. (4/37)
