This man bought 50 umbrellas for ₹5,000 at the rate of ₹100 each. Then he went and stood outside a metro station gate during the rain. People coming out of the station immediately bought umbrellas from him because of the heavy rainfall.
He sold each umbrella for ₹200 and sold all 50 umbrellas within just one hour.
He bought the umbrellas for ₹5,000 and sold them for ₹10,000, making a ₹5,000 profit in just one hour.
He does this every day by going to a rainy location for one hour and selling all his umbrellas, earning a lot of money.
He earns more than many people who work regular jobs by spending just one hour a day at a rainy location.
A perfect example of how smart thinking can create opportunities and profits.
My appeal to PM Modi-
In order to save petrol & diesel, please make it mandatory for bureaucrats, MLAs & MPs to use public buses and metro instead of large convoys.
It will also be a good opportunity for them to experience world-class infrastructure they are building for us.

A rested workforce serves the public better. With staff shortages and rising stress, 5-day banking is a service-quality issue, not a “perk.” UFBU has pursued this since 2015; IBA has recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and it’s included in the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024), pending clearances.
Let’s finish what’s already agreed.

When the world is moving to a 4-day week, and banking is already 24x7 in the digital era, bankers asking for a 5-day week isn’t a luxury. It’s justice.
IBA has agreed. The understanding is signed.
Now the Government must honour its commitment – no more excuses, no more delays.
Respect the Settlement. Deliver it.

Dear Comrades,
We have been getting queries from members of our affiliates as to how 2 (two ) different group of leaders claiming to be GS / President of AIBOA and are being allowed in UFBU meetings and also want clarity on whether these leaders are also sitting in Negotiations meetings with main committee and Sub Committees of IBA?
We are also receiving queries on claims by different constituents of AIBOA.
First of all we would like to clarify that we (AIBOC) are the industry level organisation commanding majority by almost all our Affiliates and clarify that leadership from *AIBOA* is *NOT* attending any wage revision related meetings with *IBA.*
Further, due to their internal conflicts related to leadership in AIBOA and strategies to drag the entire negotiation process to court, it is decided by AIBOC Executive Committee during its meeting on 4th and 5th December 2023, that till there internal conflict on position of Principal position in leadership is settled, there will be no representation of any leaders from AIBOA in UFBU meetings.
Please Circulate
Rupam Roy
General Secretary
