This guy needs to be arrested
He peed on a picture of BJP's Suvendu Adhikari, spat on it, abused him very badly, and even threatened to rape his mother
A Muslim woman asked her husband if she could remove her burqa to enjoy the beach but he said no and told her to go back while he continued enjoying himself
This is how Islam treats women.
Hockey is the best example of colonialism in sport:
India won eight Olympic gold medals in field hockey. Eight. On natural grass, with a style of play built on individual brilliance, close control, and improvisation that no other nation could match.
Then came artificial turf, which was introduced at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. Overnight, the classical Indian game was rendered obsolete. The dribble was neutralized. Power and stamina replaced skill and artistry. European and Australian teams, better suited to the faster, harder surface, rose. India fell.
Coincidence? Perhaps. But the pattern is too familiar to ignore: when India dominates under one set of rules, the rules change.
The IPL is India rewriting the rules for once. On our terms. With our audiences. And our money.
You adjust now @BeefyBotham@MichaelVaughan.
@RamKuma68033593 Personal experience going from Bengaluru to Srirangam to Tanjavur to Rameshwaram and return from Rameshwaram via Srirangam to Bengaluru.
Most hotels were there till Salem. After that, mostly bakeries. Entire 250 km from Tanjavur to Rameshwaram had single restaurant for lunch.
@akshat96jain Did you find restaurants? TN is famously devoid of highway restaurants except on some major highways. Interiors are really empty. Only bakeries. Tanjavur to Rameshwaram 250 km. Single restaurant. South of Madurai is even worse. Not even bakeries.
One day , while I was traveling by train, a beggar approached me and said...
"Give something in the name of Allah, *Baba*." I looked up at him with an impassive expression and said... "I don't believe in Allah, so why should I give anything?" He glared at me... and then...
I made him an offer: "If you beg in the name of 'Lord Ram,' I will give you 10 rupees." At this, he stared at me in surprise, and the people around us in the train began watching us with curiosity.
Then, making my offer even more tempting, I said that if he begged in the name of Lord Ram, I would give him "50 rupees." However, the beggar refused to agree to this and walked away, muttering under his breath.
Sensing his dogmatism, I simply went back to reading my newspaper. But this incident taught me a lesson: even a beggar who has nothing to eat and survives by begging does not compromise his religion for the sake of money.
So, are those who call themselves Hindus... even worse off than a beggar? ...
Are they always ready to betray their faith and turn 'secular' out of greed for personal gain (money or position)? It is certainly something to think about... 🧐🧐🙏🏻
Over 2,50,000 white #British girls, some as young as 11, were tortured, raped & murdered over decades by “grooming gangs” comprising #Pakistani immigrants in Britain, says MP #RupertLowe’s new report.
Thirukkural begins with God, speaks of Indra, upholds Karma, rebirth and ascetic virtue.
These are pillars of Sanatana Dharma.
Thiruvalluvar did not write in a civilizational vacuum.
Thirukkural is a jewel of the Sanatana tradition, expressed through Tamil genius.
I am with Nithin on this.
What Google was doing was completely unethical and I am glad it has been found illegal in India. They need to be held to account for these shady business practices.
Tamilnadu is Trapped ☄️☄️☄️
By its own people's idiocracy
As you keep digging, 1000's of scams linked to the illegal lottery family continue to surface
Tamil Nadu has been trapped by the “new moon darkness”:
Former IPS officer Tilakavathi is said to be a close relative (like an aunt) of Aadhav Arjuna. What is surprising about the police and criminals sharing close family ties? Now, Aadhav Arjuna being made the minister of the Public Works Department is considered dangerous.
Although Aadhav Arjuna’s wife Daisy & his brother-in-law Charles Martin have denied any connection between his political decisions and their family, recent events suggest otherwise. Aadhav Arjuna’s aunt Leema Rose welcomed Vijay with flowers, and later, as an AIADMK MLA, supported Vijay’s govt during the trust vote. This has only strengthened suspicions that the family’s denials are false.
The same Leema Rose allegedly financed MLA horse-trading by stitching cash into sofas & sending them secretly. Ironically, she later joined Jayalalithaa’s party — the very party that had banned lottery tickets in TN & hurt the Martin family’s business interests. This appears to be pure opportunism.
The pending cases against lottery kingpin Martin & his wife Leema Rose have not reached a conclusion because, according to critics, they have distributed funds generously to ruling & opposition parties alike, gaining influence everywhere.
Although the Martin family has reportedly been donating to political parties since 2007, the scale of donations increased sharply after Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids. Out of the ₹1,368 crore donated by Future Gaming through electoral bonds, nearly 50% was allegedly donated immediately after intense ED raids by central agencies.
On April 2, 2022, the Enforcement Directorate conducted raids in connection with a lottery fraud investigation and froze movable assets worth ₹409.92 crore belonging to Future Gaming & its subsidiaries. Just 5 days later, on April 7, 2022, Future Gaming purchased electoral bonds worth ₹100 crore in a single day — one of the company’s largest ever single-day transactions up to that point.
In September 2023, when the ED officially filed its prosecution complaint under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in a Kolkata court, the company had already routed several more hundreds of crores through the electoral bond system.
The Martin family has now moved beyond indirectly funding politics & has allegedly become directly involved in power and governance. Their influence and dominance are said to extend across political parties.
According to data from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Leema Rose Martin (DIN 00029522) is listed as a director, partner, or associated member in 240 companies and LLPs. Santiago Martin (DIN 00029458) is listed in 267 such entities.
Despite authorities allegedly identifying over 350 shell companies & suspicious business structures involving assets worth 1000s of crores, the courts have not yet declared the Martin family as economic offenders. Had they been declared so, their lottery and business operations could have been frozen entirely. Critics argue that because the Modi government has aligned itself with such accused individuals, the Martin family continues operating as directors, partners, and owners of shell companies, allegedly carrying on fraud and financial exploitation. It would not be surprising, they say, if government-approved lottery tickets return to Tamil Nadu.
There is a difference between a capitalist political party receiving funds from an illegal lottery businessman & the illegal lottery businessman directly participating in governance. Those with a dialectical perspective, the writer argues, will see these as 2 different things. Treating both as the same reflects a simplistic perspective. However, according to the author, a corrupt DMK govt cannot be replaced by a govt run entirely by a corrupt illegal lottery family.

India raised fuel prices by ₹3 per litre on May 15, the second hike in a week. Hormuz has been shut for 80 days now.
India imports 90% of its crude, and half of that used to flow through that strait, Forex reserves dropped $40bn in four weeks, from $728bn in February to $690bn by May 1.
The rupee fell past 96 to the dollar. OMCs are losing ₹1,000 crore a day, This is not a price shock, This is the cost of buying your entire energy supply from a war zone.
FMCG companies are already cutting pack sizes instead of printing higher MRPs. Dabur is facing 10% input cost inflation, HUL is trimming sachets, Parle reduced Parle-G weight.
The ₹5 and ₹10 price points are untouchable in rural India because purchases run on daily wages. So brands quietly give you less product for the same coin.
Every barrel above $100 does not just raise petrol prices, It raises polymer costs, freight bills, fertiliser prices, and packaging, Inflation enters through the factory gate and exits through the kitchen.
India current account deficit may double to 2.5% of GDP this year perhaps, trade deficit hit a record $28.4bn in April, Exports grew 13.8% but imports jumped faster, pulled up by oil and coal.
The fiscal deficit target of 4.3% is now under real threat, could touch 5% if crude stays above $100. But the deeper number is this.
India is 65% energy independent as per report in reality it just 40% approx, That remaining gap decides the rupee, the bond yield, the subsidy bill, and the growth forecast.
Energy sovereignty is not a policy goal, It is the balance sheet.
India Gas subsidies have been effectively withdrawn & reduce significantly, There are ground-level reports that petrol pumps are now operating on daily quotas - capped dispensing, rationed supply.
Strategic petroleum reserves are nearly depleted. Commercial inventories are drawing down fast. The global energy supply chain has not just tightened, it has structurally broken. But consumption has not fallen. Demand is fully intact.
That mismatch is what makes this dangerous. Every country is absorbing this differently. Some are scrambling for fertiliser. Some are rationing power. India is bleeding dollars.
Liquidity and bond market pressure. The dollar outflow to pay for expensive crude is not just hitting forex reserves. It is pulling liquidity out of the domestic financial system.
Less liquidity means tighter credit, higher short-term rates, and pressure on bond yields. When markets price in a wider fiscal deficit - which they will if crude stays here - government borrowing costs rise. That feeds back into the deficit itself.
It is a loop that tightens the longer oil stays elevated, The China import problem is separate and compounding.
India's energy bill is one drain. The goods import bill from China is another. Electronics, chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients, industrial intermediates, capital equipment - all flowing in, all now more expensive in rupee terms because of the currency depreciation.
Manufacturing capacity in India will meaningfully improve over the next five years. PLI schemes and China+1 diversification are real and will eventually reduce this dependence.
But that is a five-year arc. Right now, the import bill is here and growing. The export gap is the real bottleneck.
Exports are growing but not fast enough to offset the import surge.
Shipping costs alone have added $80 billion in annual burden - before you even count the actual commodity import bill.
India's energy independence push is real but incomplete.
If energy prices do not fall, the pain reprices everything downstream - factory input costs, household budgets, government subsidy burdens, infrastructure spending capacity. End the war. That is the only near-term pressure relief valve.
If that does not happen, prepare for second-order effects in the long term
