I often speak about the "Hedonic Treadmill". For high achievers in their 40s and 50s, this is an ongoing reality. We buy that luxury SUV, buy that Omega/Rolex/AP, take that trip to Lake Como/Northen Lights- and within weeks the joy fades. We need the next buy/trip just to feel the same level of "Joy".
Yesterday, while watching a Mark Manson video, I revisited two Greek terms that describe this: Hedonia vs. Eudaimonia. I thought I should share my learnings with you.

Thank you @Airbus for recognising @Mahindra_Aero with @airbus Aerostructures Xtra Mile Award 2026. So many women in a soulless, stress ridden, abusive or claustrophobic marriage stay put because they feel going back home won't be so welcoming given the norms of the society we've grown up with and the strain it will put on the parents or because of the children.
This ad beautifully erases that hesitation.
Having your child come home is a celebration, any day, any time, anyhow. ❤️Pure love to the makers of this ad and the actors.
Over the past few days, René Obermann, Chairman of @Airbus, presided over the company’s first-ever Board meeting in India.
Several members remarked that bringing the Board here was long overdue.
But I believe their timing was perfect.
Their presence here, and now, was a powerful reminder to the world that, despite global trade tensions, India remains firmly at the center of the radar screen for large transnational enterprise.
Both as an investment destination and as a critical part of their global supply chains.
During this visit, @Airbus announced the forthcoming assembly of their ‘Made in India’ aircraft, the HS 125 Helicopter.
@MahindraRise is proud to be their chosen partner to manufacture the main fuselage of the HS 125.
Thank you, @Airbus, for your confidence in India and in us.
Delighted to partner with Airbus on its #MakeInIndia plans. This contract strengthens our partnership & reflects our shared role in building India’s aerospace ecosystem.
Marking another milestone in India’s 'Make in India' vision, this contract further cements Mahindra’s role as a trusted partner in the global aerospace supply chain. It builds on the earlier 2025 award for the H130 helicopter fuselage, which is progressing well.
We are proud to strengthen our long-term partnership with Airbus.

Great news for our Group, but I’m even more delighted by this validation of the country's Make in India ambitions…and of the country’s capability to find new markets overseas
Proud to see Mahindra Aerospace among the world’s top 4 advanced manufacturing sites at the Paris Air Show — the only Indian company on AEI’s global list.
A strong signal of India’s growing edge in high-value manufacturing.
More laurels come our way!
Mahindra Aerospace is the only Indian company that has been recognized amongst the top-4 'most advanced manufacturing sites' by Aero Excellence International [AEI] during the Paris Air Show - 2025.
Other leading OEMs such as Denroy [Northern Ireland], Liebherr Group [Germany] and Safran NACELLES [France] also feature in this list.
AEI is an industry-driven initiative to foster a more resilient, mature and unified aerospace & defense supply chain. This is a big win for Mahindra Group, reinforcing our commitment to #MakeInIndia and #MakeForTheWorld. #TogetherWeRise
A moment of pride for Mahindra Aerostructures
At the recent 2025 Paris Air Show, we were among the very first four global recipients of the Aero Excellence Award, joining the ranks of Liebherr, Safran, and Denroy.
This recognition is conferred by leading aerospace bodies of France, Germany, and the UK and is more than just an award. It affirms a commitment to global standards in operational excellence, sustainability, and supply chain maturity.
It identifies us as an advanced aerospace manufacturing site. We were the only company outside Europe in this set of inaugural award recipients.
Manufacturing aerospace components was a long term decision that we took. It takes years to be accredited and accepted and there were moments on this journey when there were many questions, both inside and outside the company, about whether we should persist with this venture.
So this moment is a deeply gratifying one.
But much more important than our gratification is a powerful message:
Indian manufacturing is not just catching up, it’s helping set new benchmarks.
Thank you Team Mahindra Aerostructures.
For your commitment to this marathon of a journey, you are my #MondayMotivation
On behalf of team @mahindraaero
It is a matter of great honour to receive Aero Excellence Award at Paris Air Show 2025
To be recognised as “The Most Advanced Site” - only one outside of Europe and “one amongst the four” @anandmahindra@anishshah21@vinod_sahay

Keep making us all proud 🙏.
Mahindra Aerospace retained its ‘D2P Challenger’ ranking that places it within the Top 25 Global Suppliers of parts to Airbus - 4th year in a row - at the Annual D2P Conference in Toulouse, France.
The company also received the Special Award as the ‘Ramp-up Enabler’, a one-of-a-kind award given in recognition to Mahindra Aerospace’s ability to deliver despite global supply chain challenges, the only company selected to be honoured thus.
Further, Mahindra Aerospace is the only Indian company to be included in a new pilot comprehensive Business Excellence assessment programme for the aerospace industry titled ‘Aero Excellence’.
Launched by Airbus and other aerospace majors this programme was rolled out at the Aviation Forum in Munich, Germany last month, where Mahindra Aerospace shared the stage with 10 leading global aero industry OEMs with a respectable 96% in the assessment securing a ‘Bronze’ rating.
