T-MINUS 11.
We request people not to fall for cut-and-copy videos showing just one completed stretch.
The current state of Bannerghatta Road remains pathetic. ☹️
Digging everywhere. Broken stretches everywhere. Commuters are being put through absolute misery every single day.
The monsoons are here. Bengaluru has been seeing heavy rains for the last few days. Yet the work is still moving at a snail’s pace.
This is not acceptable.
One small patch near IIM Bangalore has been done. But Bannerghatta Road is not one small stretch. It is a major arterial road that runs for several kilometres and serves thousands of residents, students, pedestrians, and commuters.
Dear Chief Commissioner avare,
If this road is not restored immediately, the impact during the rains will be disastrous.
Bannerghatta Road needs urgent, full-scale work. Not slow patchwork. Not excuses. Not delays.
@GBAChiefComm@GBA_office
We will keep watching. We will keep reminding. We will keep fighting till the entire road is fully restored.
One road. One promise. One deadline.

T-MINUS 17.
Some more great news in the right direction. The pressure worked! 🙂
Last night, a few more pipes were laid on Bannerghatta Road. The pipes on the sidewalk in front of Dress Circle have also mostly been cleared.
This is good work and a positive step forward!
But the timeline is getting closer.
The rains are already playing havoc, and people are still suffering without a proper road. Every delay now will make the situation worse.
We need the remaining work to move much faster.
Bannerghatta Road cannot wait anymore.
@GBAChiefComm@GBA_office
We will keep watching. We will keep reminding. We will keep fighting till the entire road is properly laid and made safe for everyone.
One road. One promise. One deadline.

Bengaluru was recently ranked among the world's most polluted cities.
And yet 50 trees in Malleswaram face the axe for an Eco Sewage Plant, right next to forest department.
What exactly is the forest department protecting if not this? @aranya_kfd
Beautiful neighbourhoods like Malleswaram should not be turned into more concrete at the cost of the trees that keep our city livable. Bengaluru needs solutions that work with nature, not against it. @GBA_office

Met the @NammaBNP candidate for my ward - RBI Layout - recently. Former IIM Research Assistant, professional career in adoption and foster care services, special educator and active member of residents' committee. We should get more candidates like Sharada Narayana. 50% reservation for women in local bodies hasn't had a great track record, but it's improving as more and more self-made women step up to public life.
One of the worst municipal corporation in India. After complaining for almost 3 years for bare minimum, citizens have been requesting rainwater drain cleaning, a walkable footpath, drains without sewage. This is the oldest area of Whitefield.
@GBAChiefComm@GbaEastCity7056
@NammaBNP@GBA_office@GBAChiefComm This is the same story, year after year after year. Attitude of the people in government has been apathetic, irrespective of which party is in the government.
Bengaluru didn’t flood because of rain. It flooded because drains weren't desilted. Trees fell because their health was never checked. Roads collapsed because basic fixes were ignored for years.
These are not special demands. ಇದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ. @GBA_office@GBAChiefComm are you listening?
If civic departments had done their jobs regularly, our infrastructure wouldn’t crumble within an hour of rain. This is a failure of maintenance, with zero accountability & no one to represent the citizens.
Bengaluru doesn’t need tunnel roads while our basic infrastructure is in shambles. @DKShivakumar ಅವರೇ ಮೊದಲು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯದ ಕಡೆ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಿ. Fix the basics first.

Imagine if Iran bombed and destroyed the Golden Gate Bridge in California, what would you call it? TERRORISTS
The U.S bombed and destroyed the highest bridge in Iran, the B1 bridge, why do you call it “PEACE”?
Bombing a bridge is a war crime under international humanitarian law
Has JP Nadda ji introduced a new rule now, that anyone who questions corruption will be answered with an FIR?
If every citizen who asks questions is threatened, then soon officials will work without fear, without scrutiny and without accountability.
A democracy cannot survive if raising questions is treated like a crime.
"From streets to sanctity"
HSR Layout in Bengaluru is showing us how faith can be recycled with dignity.
Instead of idols abandoned on roads, imagine them reborn through divine frames collected with care.
Respect doesn’t end at worship, it continues in how we let go.
This is the situation of the good ol' Whitefield. Sewage is flowing in rainwater drains. Stench is unbearable and the drain is blocked for 100m in both the directions as well. We have been complaining for 5 weeks. @GBA_office@ICCCBengaluru@ChristinMP_@BangaloreMirror
Karnataka was supposed to roll out ‘dealer point registration’ several years ago. The then transport secretary, @Rajender_69, was planning a soft launch. However, strong lobbying by a section of officials followed; he was transferred & since then no official has dared to revive the proposal.
i was tired of stupid people on road so i hacked my helmet into a traffic police device 🚨
while i ride, ai agent runs in near real time, flags violations, and proof with location & no plate goes straight to police.
blr people - so now ride safe… or regret it.
