@CanaraKaradt Entire Kannada Haridasa lineage, beginning with Purandara Dasaru, celebrated Panduranga Vitthala throughout the length and breadth of the Vijayanagara Empire. Even today many from South KA do Pandhrapura yaathre.
@MallikarjunaNH In fact, many non-Vedantic shaiva traditions are based on Pasupata, which has a dualistic theology. Acharya Madhva propounded vedic based Tattvavada with Vishnu as the supreme reality. Purva Mimamsa, Jainism, and many other schools also follow a dualistic or pluralistic approach.
@naadu_nudi Jagannatha Dasaru once a prakhanda sanskrit pandith realized the importance of Kannada haridasa movement and started propogating madhwa siddantha in Kannada language.
@heegeSummane@kw841 Exactly, haven't heard madhwa youths talking about Krishnamrutha Maharnava or MBTN or the core of Brahmasutra Bhashyas of Srimadacharya which are the actual works that needs to be propograted. It's sad to see the mathas are more interested in Manimanjari propogation.
@ghatti_chutney@harshithkb It was not a conversion. Koteshwara Magane vs Kota smartha ended up with former group approaching Rajaru to accept them into Sodhe matha parampare.
@Sharat0213 All 3 sects of Vaidikas follow the Brindavana/Adhishtana pooja of their respective gurus. In Madhvas/Srivaishnavas it is Brindavana and for Smarthas it is Adhishtana. Someone doesnt believe in Rayaru or any philosophy would be their personal choice.
@shrutammegopaya Tantrasara of Acharya Madhva is completely based on Pancharatra agama. Unlike Srivaishnavas the Rudra/Shiva worship is not a complete exclusion for Madhvas, rather it's a must to get anugraha by Srihari. Whereas the pooja paddathi is with a Devata hierarchy order.
