I am always amused by "Bangalore - South canarians". They never walk barefoot to Daiva-sthanas in 'paadi' by carefully avoiding thorns on the ground to offer "charu" to daivas. They never visit 'Naagabanas' on Nagara-panchami drenching under 100mm rain to offer 'thanu'. They never visit their village temple for the annual festival. They never sacrificed their sleep even for a day to watch Bhootha-Kola or 'aata'. But they never miss to post "muh culture rockz....." status on Instagram for Kantara movies. They will never miss to lecture the actual South canarians about how they should perceive the local culture from their lens.

Look at all the h@te comments in the quotes and replies by Olaata gang. That gentleman didn't even compare Bangalore with any other city outside of Karnataka. Still they are badmouthing Mangalore. It indicates that the Olaata gang doesn't even consider Mangalore as an integral part of Karnataka in their hearts. Then they shouldn't have any problem if any TuLu activists demand a separate TuLunadu state.

The worst place on earth. The city is full of bad infrastructure. Communal riots are common. Food is bad and they serve stale food. People are not welcoming to outsiders. If you don't speak Kannada in the TuLu accent, people will beat the §h!t out of you.
