I think I met the saddest version of myself this year. I’ve been feeling so drained, emotional, and lost lately. I don’t even recognize myself sometimes. I cry over things I used to be strong enough to handle, and honestly, I hate feeling this sensitive. I keep telling everyone I’m okay, but deep down, I know I’m not. I miss the old me. the one who was happier, lighter, and didn’t overthink everything. I miss having a genuine spark in me.
Functional depression is real.
You work, joke around, take care of people around you. But mentally you are drowning in your own thoughts and nobody knows it.
Bother me. Keep me updated. Double text me. Send me random thoughts. Show me your jealous side. Yap to me nonstop. Spam me with pictures, memes, videos, and texts. Tell me how your day went — even the boring parts. Tell me what made you laugh. Tell me what irritated you. Tell me what’s on your mind. Show me your outfit. Send me selfies just because. Call me whenever you want. FaceTime me with nothing to say. Tell me when you miss me. Ask me what I’m doing. Check on me.
okay i lied. i’m obsessed with you. i do want you to myself. i don’t want to see you with anyone else. i want you to be mine. i need your attention 24/7. i yearn for you
One of the hardest things is becoming strangers with someone who once knew you by heart—your fears, your secrets, your little favorites, everything. And now you have to walk past them like you were never a part of each other’s lives.

We think we want sex, it's not always about sex. it's the intimacy we want. To be touched, looked at, admired, smiled at, laugh with someone, feel safe. Feel like someone's really got you. that's what we crave.
