Why only 1 percent of wrong side driving challaned got FIR? Why not all? You need to keep all wrong side drivers standing and wait for 6 hours before being allowed to drive so that they realize there's no saving of time n then FIR and courts and Jail. Do it seriously or no at all
Delhi Traffic Police has launched a special enforcement drive against wrong-side driving across the National Capital to improve road safety, maintain traffic discipline and prevent fatal accidents.
🔸Since 04.05.2026, strict legal action has been initiated against violators, including registration of 72 FIRs and issuance of 7249 challans. Wrong-side driving remains a major cause of head-on collisions, traffic congestion and serious road accidents.
🔸Delhi Traffic Police reiterates that wrong-side driving is not just a traffic violation but a dangerous offence with potentially fatal consequences. Strict enforcement and prosecution against reckless offenders will continue to ensure safer roads for all.
🔸Citizens are urged to follow designated carriageways and adhere to traffic rules in the interest of public safety.

Had a near death experience in Noida today.
My office is located in sector 57. A mob of around 500 people attacked us at around 1 PM.
Large rocks were pelted at us. Bikes, cars, and other vehicles were vandalised.
Just when we thought the mob was gone, they came back again.
The @NoidaTraffic needs to do something about this daily traffic jam and chaos from Mahamaya Bridge to DND,especially at the bottleneck opposite Prerana Sthal. Been stuck here for close to 35 minutes now. Aise hi petrol ka crisis chal raha hai, upar se yahan fook dein hum petrol
Motherson Factory is 10 km away from our factory. Event in one factory can't spark City wise disorder in few hours. Roads were sealed. Random people were pelting stone on factories. Gates were uprooted. Most of the people creating this chaos were not from factories that suffered losses.
Dear @noidapolice@myogiadityanath our factory in sector 63 Noida is attacked by protesters. Glasses are broken and they are vandalising the premises. This is happening across all factories. Employees are very scared. Please send police.

NGMA Delhi is a proper subset of the city. Gorgeous building with an interesting collection of art (and a swimmingly good retrospective of Satish Gujral’s work on now). But, a ticket counter that needs you to queue up in the sun only to be told by the official behind the window ‘Aap ticket download kar lijiye.’ Rude security guards who ask you if you’re hiding a camera, when every phone is a camera. Yet, photography is permitted in parts, but you will find out where the hard way. A shop that has a decent collection but is usually ‘out of stock’, and with poor connectivity so you need to scramble for cash. The experience is beautifully wrapped in red-tape.

🇵🇹Portugal in 2021:
"Invest EUR 500k, naturalize in 5 years"
🇵🇹 in 2025:
"We took 4 years to process your application. We put golden visa investors at the back of the line for ideological reasons. But don't worry, we'll count your wait time toward your naturalization timeline."
🇵🇹 in 2026:
"We changed the law, so now you'll only be eligible for naturalization in 2035, and the time spent waiting won't count after all.
Oh, and the processing time for naturalization is itself another 3 years. So you can look forward to a Portuguese passport in 2038, 17 years after you invested.
Unless, of course, we change something else by then.
Anyway, thanks for the half a million euros."
Someone is selling a manor estate in Burgundy with a private river, waterfalls and a natural swimming pond. 2 hours from Paris.
Two buildings arranged around a courtyard, 1,700m² (18,298 sq ft) in total, 12 bedrooms, an artist's studio, stables and 7 hectares (17 acres) of land.
Inside there's a music room with a piano, a library in the tower, a writing room, and a dining room built around a fireplace large enough to roast a whole animal. Herons and wild ducks live on the property year round. The river has a depth of 3 metres and you can swim in it all summer.
Near Vézelay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Asking price: €1.39M ($1.6M).
The French sure do know about living well. A river on your grounds, your own land to walk, swimming in summer, dinner outside.
What's the French word for this kind of life?
