Brilliant brilliant brilliant - a seafood feast @ChezBruce on tip top form! @MattChristmas1 and his team on fire today, the lobster raviolo is a CB classic but the curried monkfish was arguably even better! What a lunch.

Burgundy WIMPS @LaTrompetteUk was another pretty special afternoon - thanks to the whole team for looking after us so wonderfully. Food was light, fresh and perfectly summery - the trademark style of @Gregory_Wellman .

Now onto @ChezBruce @MattChristmas1 for lunch today!

@ChezBruce @LaTrompetteUk @MattChristmas1 Yeah Foillard is the business. His wines age like a Cote D'Or Burgundy too. I quite like a chilled, lighter red with rich meat dishes - if Matt has one of his epic offal main courses on it will be a great partner.

All set for Burgundy WIMPS @LaTrompetteUk on Friday, followed by @ChezBruce on Saturday! Original plan was to take Supertuscans to Chez Bruce, but we've switched to whites in light of the weather. I'm sure @MattChristmas1 will have some suitably summery dishes on his menu!

@ChezBruce @MattChristmas1 All the wines showed well, the standout was probably the regular Comtes, which was perfect with your rabbit cavatelli.

@MattChristmas1 @ChezBruce I didn't think the chocolate pudding could be improved upon, but the hazelnut variation did it for me! Outstanding birthday lunch at my favourite restaurant in the country!

Birthday weekend in London starts tomorrow - Friday night @theveeraswamy, Saturday lunch @akokorestaurant and then Sunday lunch at my favourite @ChezBruce. Many, many calories lie ahead!!

Fantastic tasting menu @LakeRoadKitchen last night - particular highlights were the prawn congee, halibut with truffle and the pecan gelato. Some amazing wines too!

Outstanding flavours & textures @37Prithvi with skillful spicing and seasoning. Every dish just made you want to eat more!
