@JohnDaBruce@agent_call88545@EvriDeliveryCom Don’t engage with these people, they are scammers. Evri does not communicate via Twitter apparently. I did this yesterday then received a scam call trying to install the LemFi app for verification and a ‘refund’. Nigerian scam outfit.
@EvriDeliveryCom anyone posting on here be very very careful of @ResponseTe339 after dm-ing my contact details to what I thought was Evri, I received a very dodgy phone call phishing for personal details then asking me to download a LemFi app!!!
@EvriDeliveryCom absolute shit show. No QR code supplied nor a PIN. Not able to talk to anyone….will have to wait to hear back 24 hours later….by which time I will have run out of time to pick up my parcel….
@inlandtaipan1@patmcfaddenmp Hard working, bright daughter. Studied law @ Cambridge. Been through a rigorous and blind recruitment process with CS fast stream. I grew up piss poor on a council estate, heroin addict parents, became a teacher, yet I would be seen as too middle class?
@EarlsfieldGirl Absolutely agree. My daughter has just been through this process. Very rigorous and totally blind. I grew up on a council estate, parents were heroin addicts, I became a teacher, my daughter went to a state grammar and then studied law at Cambridge. She got the job-works hard!
@franceshinde Many people are talking about the effect of VAT on falling student numbers and income. Has anyone thought of looking at the expenditure of these private schools? Their expenditure on facilities per student seems far exceed that of the state sector. Perhaps they need to …1/2
@SuzanneKirkArt@ArmchairAn4lyst@ROH_London Wow! Was going to ask your thoughts about thousands of children being massacred and starved. But hey I think you’ve made it quite clear as to where you stand on violence.
@andyhassan1985@adamboxer1 I concur. Another question though, what if the school policy is not the best (for students and/or teachers), but merely have been adopted because they are the ‘new thing’ (emperor’s new clothes)? I have been in teaching for long enough to see many fads come and go.
@adamboxer1 Policy is the problem. Too prescriptive and does not allow for professional autonomy. Perhaps Steph’s questions were more suited to that particular lesson/students. There are many ways to skin a cat.
@MrsHenders4652@tombennett71 Aren’t examinations, to a certain lesser degree, also a test of someone’s ability to perform, and cope, under a degree of pressure. If you cannot cope with the pressure of an examination, perhaps you should not be sitting them.
@adamboxer1 Is this to save money on expensive resources? I’ve always maintained that schools, departments should buy in resources, then adapt accordingly. Wondering if it’s about saving money?
@TPScheme 2/2….this has been going on for nearly 6 months now. You are an utter shambles,. This has been written about in the media. And yet you do sweet FA, because your contract is about to end. Unions @NEUnion and @NASUWT you are also not representing your members wrt this 👆
@TPScheme Trying to get divorced. Cannot sort out finances because, although I have my CETV, my ex cannot log into his account, has tried phoning you multiple times you never answer, has emailed for new password, you never replied, has written to you, complained formally….1/2
