I am so proud of my students! We reached our goal of reading 1750 books on Epic before spring break! This is over 697 hours of reading! Way to go remote learners!
On this day we are remembering the tragedy that occurred &the lives that were lost a year ago. It is also read across America week so I wanted to observe today by reading about someone who brings me great comfort during scary weather, Danielle Breezy. @DanielleBreezy#WomenInSTEM
This remote small group was so lucky to work with our wonderfully talented TTU STEM Ambassador! They connected our Ancient Greek studies to Pythagorus and learned about ratios! Finally, they used ratios to make an instrument using glasses and water! @drjuliebaker
Today remote 2nd graders were inspired by our CKLA unit in Ancient Greek Civ to become architects. They used the engineering design process to create their own floor plan. They will also use https://t.co/xey64jCBdW & build 3D prototypes. #STEM#problemsolvers
Today I removed our raised beds. It has been an honor and privilege to see countless student hands touched by this garden for the past 6 years. I loved seeing so many children excited about gardening. Looking forward to new, green beginnings!
These students worked so hard to memorize all our past and present President’s names. They are now in our class Presidents club. We are so proud of all of you!
I love when I present my students with a STEM challenge and they truly believe it will be impossible. The look on their faces when they make it happen is priceless! #parthenonstem#collaboration#problemSolving
The horticulture class partnership is always exciting & impactful with all of my students. My kids volunteered to skip recess for this informative tour! Thank you @cgarrison5526 for all you do. We also used this opportunity to learn to write thank you letters
This week in correspondence with our Greek myth, Arachne the weaver, Ss researched spiders using nonfiction text and approved websites. Today we used the EDP to weave a tapestry. #STEM#problemsolving#collaboration#ckla
