@TedPillows Two reads disagree here. Options map (Oct 30): $ETH ~2,366 is under the 2,400 put wall and the 2,450 flip, negative gamma, next heavy put strike 2,300. Our medium-term model read is still Bullish and only stops holding below ~2,185, under your 2,200 target.
bitcoin:native options map, Oct 30 expiry: price is boxed in between two big strikes.
80,000 · put wall, the heaviest put gamma on the board
82,000 · call wall, the largest gross gamma
81,000 · flip
Spot ~80,700 is below the flip, the side where dealer hedging tends to add to moves. Back above 81K, the map turns calmer up to 82K.
$SPY options map · Oct 30 expiry, the biggest weekly (1.9M contracts)
Call wall 780 · Gamma flip 775 · Put wall 760
Spot ~761: sitting on the put wall, below the flip
Negative gamma: dealer hedging tends to add to moves, not damp them.
@BullflowIO Third test today. $SPY slipped under 760 at the open and again from 10:13 to 10:38 ET (low 758.68), and got back above both times. ~760.4 now.
@StockSavvyShay@brewmarkets Two very different charts got them here: $AAPL printed a record 351.73 this morning, while $NVDA at ~212 is still -13% from its Oct 6 high of 243.37.
@alphatrends 514.75 checks out on the 200-day counting today. $SMH ~527.3 is 2.4% above it, and today's low of 523.77 stopped 1.8% short. The July low of 503.63 is another 4.5% under the current price.
@KobeissiLetter Their $82 target is also where the options crowd sits: the call wall in 7 of the 8 expiries through Nov 27. With gamma positive across the chain, that's where moves tend to slow down. $TLT ~81.4, 0.7% away.
@RedDogT3 Right under 760.64 sits the 760 put wall in the Oct 30 chain, the biggest near-term expiry with 1.87M contracts open. $SPY is also below that chain's 777 gamma flip, where dealer hedging tends to add to moves, not dampen them.
@The_RockTrading Not impressed aged well: $QQQ ~707.4, -2.5% today, and the 706.63 low undercut Oct 16's 707.23. Next line on your chart is 700.04, about 1% below.
@blondebroker1 $IBM is the textbook one: up to 256.27 at the open, now ~246.6, -1.8%. $META never even got the pump, its high of 681.07 stayed below the 697.52 close.
@ShardiB2 Made it: $TSLA ~387.7, +3.7% off the 373.71 low at the open. Next on the options map is $400, the call wall in 9 of the 13 listed expiries, about 3% above.
@SeanLHughes@TheSonOfWalkley Fair point if it's all-stock: holders would get $SPCX shares, so the $480 moves with SpaceX. Today alone SPCX ranged 156.93 to 166.18, a 6% swing.
