I've seen so many posts trolling Ruturaj for his first 6 ODI games.

But let me tell you the fact —

•1 ODI in Oct 2022.
•3 ODIs in Aug-Sept 2023. (Rutu scored 77 in one game)
•2 ODIs in Dec 2023.

Then 2 years long exile and finally a comeback against SA in 2025 Nov.

You pick any player across the Globe. Give him such inconstance chances. Nobody will be able to perform. I accept that Rutu could've done better but still you need to back a young player for a while, right ??

But after making a comeback in 2025, Rutu's finally flourishing in this format despite receiving the same kinda treatment.

And labelling someone a failure on the basis of 4-5 odd innings that came across 2 years ??? How does it make sense ??
