i think its due to that envy & enemy/competitor kind of feeling most people have towards ai, coz they feel it will destroy their source of earning. This hate has fueled their ignorance and instead of acknowledgement, they ignore its progress & make fun of it.

agree & I believe almost all of "getting replaced by ai" bluff is aimed at investors & bigger fishes for upcoming IPOs. People who have built or worked with software at scale understand that in reality our industry is going to employ even more people in upcoming years to build even better software with/for ai.
