I forget to eat until I’m about to pass out/vomit bc I’m hungry. Instead of taking time to sit &eat a meal, a handful of anything is easier

@Joss_N @michaeltavon @triiadxx befriending the child isn’t what made him overcome his fear. It was the patience & willingness to listen to what seemed to be an irrational toddler. I was able to identify issues parents couldn’t. It’s skills learned & just bc I haven’t given birth doesn’t mean I don’t have them

@Joss_N @michaeltavon @triiadxx Observed? Having a child sit next to you for hours and hot to the touch to fever conclusion is not a skill everyone has. Even biological parents sometimes do not have the critical thinking skills to come to that conclusion and to act like it’s anything more is ridiculous

ME. my friend in the trenches of postpartum asked ME to help her soothe baby & work her bf pump because she didn’t know how. never birthed a kid so f me right
