Dear @Apple, how exactly does the new “Unblock greater accessibility” feature help someone with a neurological condition who may be physically unable to enter a passcode after being locked out?
(Would love to get my questions answered in the thread).
If Face ID fails to recognize me and I’m unable to enter my passcode because of my condition, being locked out effectively becomes an accessibility barrier.
That’s a good step. I appreciate it. But it’s not the accessibility what our third world countries can afford. You need, should and must; to be the one to feel it 🙏🏼
Accessibility should mean being able to access your device - not being locked out because your body can’t perform a required action.
What’s the point of accessibility if I can’t login?
How often does Face ID require a passcode instead of recognizing my face, and why isn’t there a more accessible alternative for people who physically cannot reliably enter a passcode?
@Aadhaar_Care Lol your anchor tag is pointing to the wrong URL which you can see in the Elements section of the snapshot. Never mind, I already updated my address yesterday.
