Low TFR is a real challenge, but flooding the country with low-skilled migrants to prop up headline GDP isn't a solution. It's like quantitative easing with people, boosting raw numbers while per capita living standards stagnate and pressure builds on housing and services.

Real fixes lie in raising productivity through manufacturing revival, skill/trade training, automation, and family policies to lift birth rates, plus selective high-value immigration.

Why defend a system that relies on endless population inflows instead of building a resilient, high-output economy for existing citizens?
