Temple Digital Group has selected @tZERO as our ATS and technology provider for onchain tokenized securities.
Under the agreement, Temple Digital Group will integrate tZERO's regulated operating technologies, including client onboarding and transaction services, letting Temple bring tokenized securities trading to our clients.
“Institutions building tokenized markets need a regulated operating foundation that can work with their technology and business model,” said Alan Konevsky, Chief Executive Officer of tZERO. “Temple has developed one of the most powerful trading systems on Canton. By bringing our broker-dealer and ATS capabilities to that system, we can help Temple deliver its offering to clients while expanding the reach of tZERO’s Infrastructure-as-a-Service business.”
“We’re focused on developing regulated, onchain trading technologies for tokenized assets,” said Evan Varsamis, Chief Executive Officer of Temple Digital Group. “Working with tZERO allows us to combine our solutions with an established broker-dealer and ATS operator, providing the regulated infrastructure needed to support securities on our platform at scale.”

"That is the bet behind much of Wall Street’s tokenization push: not just longer operating hours as markets move toward 24/7 trading, but whether assets can move more freely across institutions, reducing trapped liquidity and some of the handoffs involved in moving collateral.
The July pilot was an attempt to test that proposition under something closer to real market conditions, bringing together exchanges, clearinghouses, banks and asset managers rather than limiting transactions to bilateral trades."

Today, Temple Digital Group participated in one of the first onchain US Treasury repo trades on the Canton Network through the DTCC’s tokenization service.
A tokenized version of a US Treasury security was financed against tokenized cash (Circle's USDCx) through Temple's RFQ platform and settled on the Canton Network, while the underlying security remained within DTC's existing book-entry framework.
The transaction, part of DTCC’s live production trades conducted on July 15, was conducted utilizing the DTCC Tokenization Service, which enables the issuance of tokenized representations (also referred to as digital twins) of real-world assets that can be delivered to DTC Participant wallets of choice.
Settlement was atomic and onchain between the counterparties' wallets, providing delivery-versus-payment in real time while legal ownership of the underlying Treasury security continued to be reflected through DTC's existing book-entry framework.
With the successful execution of this month's tokenized US Treasury repo transaction, Temple's focus turns to extending the Treasury work stream from spot to repo and intraday financing, and carrying the same execution and settlement architecture from tokenized Treasuries to tokenized securities in preparation for the expected October 2026 launch of the DTCC Tokenization Service.
