Punjab is moving forward with international accreditation and certification pathways for 20,000 learners across TEVTA and PVTC and PSDF partners , through our partnership with UKQA and SIAS.

TEVTA
• 10,672 learners
• 26 programmes
• 25 training centres
• International accreditation/certification pathways through SIAS and EAL and UKQA .

PVTC
• 6,437 learners proposed for international assessment/certification

Under the agreement, the initiative provides two important pathways: international review and accreditation of Punjab/PBTE qualifications, including jointly badged credentials, and access to SIAS-owned Ofqual-regulated qualifications where appropriate.

This is not simply about issuing international certificates. We are working to map Punjab’s curricula and learning outcomes against international standards, strengthen assessment and quality assurance, build institutional capacity and give our youth qualifications valued by employers internationally.

Samar Hayat, a graduate of PSDF Mein Digital, has earned over Rs. 1 million through online Mathematics tuition and YouTube in just six months.

On behalf of Hon'ble Chief Minister Punjab, Chairman @MaryamNSharif CM Task Force on Skills Development Mr. Adnan Chatha led a high-level meeting to welcome distinguished UK experts Mr. Steve Smith, Inaugural Chair of the UK Qualifications Alliance (UKQA) and Managing Director of SIAS, and Mr. Michael Dawe, former Managing Director of City & Guilds International and an internationally recognized workforce development expert.

The meeting, attended by officials from the Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department (SD&ED) and the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF), focused on strengthening collaboration for internationally recognized certifications, enhancing the quality of Punjab's TVET system, and expanding global employment opportunities for skilled youth.

The engagement reflects Hon'ble Chief Minister Punjab's vision of transforming Punjab into a globally competitive skills hub, driving economic growth through a future-ready workforce.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon. CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif @MaryamNSharif , Punjab has achieved another major milestone in skills development. I was honoured to witness Chairman PBTE Dr. Faisal Mahmood sign a landmark MoU with SIAS UK, represented by Steve Smith Inaugural Chair of the UK Qualifications Alliance (UKQA) and Managing Director of SIAS, alongside Michael Dawe, former Managing Director of City & Guilds International. This partnership will strengthen the international recognition of PBTE qualifications, align Punjab’s TVET system with global standards, and expand overseas employment opportunities for our skilled youth.

Under the vision of honourable Chief Minister Maryam nawaz sharif @MaryamNSharif Chairperson CM Taskforce on Skills Development, Adnan Afzal Chattha, and Additional Secretary SD&ED, convened an update meeting with PSDF on Advance Tech program, under Maryam Nawaz Hunarmand Naujawan.

The discussion focused on further additions and improvements into the program to enable sustainable income generating pathways for the skilled youth in high-tech trades including AI, Python, App Development, Data Science, Unity Game Development, AI-led Digital Marketing, MEAN, MERN, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing.

In line with the vision of PM Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif @CMShehbaz to build a skilled, productive workforce and CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's @MaryamNSharif commitment to empowering youth through market-driven skills, Mr. Adnan Afzal Chattha, Chairperson, Chief Minister Punjab Task Force on Skill Development, met with Engr. Qamar ul Islam Raja, Chairman, National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) at the NAVTTC Headquarters Islamabad.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between federal and provincial institutions to advance Pakistan's skills development ecosystem, enhance youth employability, and align technical and vocational education with the evolving needs of industry. Discussions also emphasized expanding opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and future-ready skills that will enable young Pakistanis to compete in the global economy.
