“oh well might have gestational diabetes at least there’s easy management for that either diet and exercise or worst case scenario insulin and induction at 36 weeks” and this is an example of how scarred I’ve been in life and how I’ve managed to survive
I haven’t bought a proper stroller because it’s such a hard decision…I have a doona dupe, I know I needed that for the first at least 6 months, but I keep researching on a proper stroller and it’s just so much info overload 🥹 also I need another car seat. That one I’m meh about
I’m so hard on myself because I’ve slowly become more and more sedentary and I still have 3 months to go but honestly I’m doctoring during intern year, surviving, happy, cooking my meals, eating, going out, cleaning my house like what much more can I ask of myself
I love laying in bed feeling my baby move for hours ngl enjoying this little break because my 3rd trimester is unfortunately going to look very busy at work
you can tell she didnt go to school and is emotionally and critically stunted bcuz of it bcuz this is a take you have at 13 yrs old when you are introduced to algebra and dont understand why letters are present in math
@Queen_DT96@brittilina This comment makes me think you really have Not seen or anylized how an OR works. They quite literally need to communicate, sometimes it’s with little cues, sometimes more literal, só that everything runs smoothly
The only reason we still have these 24 hrs calls is that we literally almost never work 24 hrs but i guess this is the exception i think we are going to break the récord for working at least 20
Most of my friends in Paris/London have a distorted view of the US, and sometimes a weird superiority complex.
They think only the top 1% lives well and everyone else is trapped in social collapse (guns, healthcare horror stories, obesity, politics, LA homelessness, NYC dysfunction).
Then they visit random suburbs in Texas, Florida or the Midwest and see middle-class families clearing $300k+/year with huge houses, multiple cars, space, AC, full restaurants, youth sports complexes and mass retail abundance.
The uncomfortable reality is that a lot of “ordinary” Americans live materially better than European elites.
Idk if it's media manipulation, denial of reality or straight ignorance, but we’re getting underclassed and most people only realize it when they land there.
Im 26 weeks and will start washing baby clothes soon, and organize everything i have available now bc i fear i Will go Back to being a resident with 60+ work hour weeks for 3rd trimester 😅
