In history we have been learning about the impact Florence Nightingale had on hygiene in hospitals. We used glitter to represent germs and investigated how easily they spread from person to person. We then used thorough hand washing to make sure we were germ free! #ASAhistorians

What an amazing weeks attendance we've had this week. Every class have above 90% which includes 3 classes above school target of 96% Y2 have a whopping 99%. So this week, 3 classes are receiving a star on our attendance board. Well done to Years 2, 3 and 4 for amazing attendance
For Children's Mental Health week we have been talking about recognising our different emotions and how it can make our body feel. We came up with ways to look after our Mental Health by doing things we love!
Across school today, children took part in our βDemocracy Dayβ. Children wrote sensational speeches and led fantastic campaigns before voting for who they wanted to represent them on the School Council. Watch this space for our first project! #ASABritishValues
