If in May 2024, 200 million Nigerians have still not clocked that they need to TAKE OVER A POLITICAL PARTY from ground level and retrofit it to achieve national political goals, then there's no point.

Why should I be attending Zoom meetings - discussing internet activism with civil society people that I don't trust because I know their funding comes from Brussels and DC - when the drug pushers, currency counterfeiters, and state capture specialists are busy strengthening the political structures they have built and are already preparing for the next election?

3 months to the election is when we will now realise that the actual opposition does not have enough polling agents to cover 176,974 polling units, then we will start another round of fire brigade fundraising and preparation. Then the party will suddenly start having internal problems because - surprise - not enough people got involved early enough to actually elect a proper board who will not attempt to sell Nigerians for Chicago heroin money. We'll now be on the internet hurling curses at one 2027 Lamidi Apapa regen who doesn't send our father.

Then when we somehow win on election day, and they start using tippex to give our votes to the drug dealer inside the collation centres, that's when we'll now realise that we don't have an alternative media and technology ecosystem to place INEC under the required pressure, and then we'll start waiting for one compromised judge that will not die well to somehow rule against the drug dealer who is giving him money.

If the conversation is not about joining the Labour Party or PDP in our MILLIONS, and carrying out a guerilla takeover of those platforms to make them fully fit for purpose and ready for war 3 years from now, I'm not interested. HOLD POLICE IG, ERISCO FOODS CEO RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO MY PREGNANT WIFE AND CHILDREN

Husband to Chioma Edoka Okoli, Mr. Chizoba Okoli, has released a video to the public narrating the trauma that his wife and children are going through due to the ongoing siege at his home in Sangotedo in Lagos State by policemen sent by the Inspector General of Police.

In the short video clip, Mr. Chizoba revealed that his wife is pregnant and that his little children who were supposed to resume school today could not do so as result of the house arrest that his family has been subjected to.

He also stated that their cooking gas finished last night and that his pregnant wife and little children have not been able to prepare food and eat since morning because the ongoing siege at their home by the policemen.

Chizoba wondered what crime his wife has committed to warrant the current harassment by the IGP, despite the subsistence of an order made by the Federal High Court in Lagos that she should not be arrested.

He said the IGP and the CEO of @EriscoFoodsLtd, Chief Eric Umeofia should be held responsible if anything happens to his wife, his children and unborn child.

Chioma was arrested and detained previously last year after she made a post on Facebook to review the sugar quantity of a tomato she purchased which is manufactured by Erisco Foods Limited.

She later sued the police and Erisco at the Federal High Court and secured a restraining order.

IGP OVERRULES COURT ORDER, ORDERS RE-ARREST OF CHIOMA OKOLI OVER ERISCO TOMATO REVIEW

At about 7:00 AM today Tuesday, the 9th day of January 2024, policemen invaded and laid siege on the private residence of Mrs. Chioma Edoka Okoli located at Sangotedo in Lagos State.

Chioma Okoli was previously arrested and detained in September 2023 over her review of a tomato product manufactured by Erisco Foods Limited.

A team of policemen from Abuja who claim to be acting on the orders of the Inspector General of Police to re-arrest my client refused to serve us with a court order authorizing them to do so. The team from Abuja is being supported by policemen from the Ajiwe Police Station in Ajah.

The initial team that arrived at her residence called for a reinforcement after we demanded to see the court order authorizing them to rearrest her. They are currently trying to break into her house where she lives with her baby.

This latest attack on Chioma is in connection with the ongoing case between my client and the police on the instigation of Erisco Foods Limited and its founder, Chief Eric Umeofia.

The police had secretly filed a “charge” against Chioma at the Federal High Court in Abuja instead of Lagos where the case arose. The charge is pending before Hon. Justice A. R Mohammed. I later got wind of their plot after a tip-off.

When the case filed by the police in Abuja came up on 7th December 2023, the police counsel informed the court that they were unable to serve my client with the charge (this is not accurate as no attempt was made in this regard).

The police counsel then applied for an adjournment for them to file a motion to enable them serve my client with the charge through substituted means. Justice Mohammed granted the application and adjourned the case to Wednesday, 10th January, 2024 for hearing of the motion.

We are astonished that the police would turn around today to invade the residence of my client and harass her and her baby without recourse to the court where the charge is currently pending.

My client has not been served with any charge, summons or arraignment notice as required by law. The case before the court and is coming up tomorrow, 10th January, 2024 for the hearing of the motion the police said they would file to secure a court order to serve my client with their “charge” and accompanying documents.

The team leader told me over the phone that he a DSP and that he has four ASPs with him and other police officers. He also told me that the PSO to the IGP spoke with him directly and that he cannot disobey the order of the IGP despite the court order barring the police from re-arresting my client.

How can the IGP issue a directive to overrule the subsisting order of a court of competent jurisdiction? Is this how we want to develop our country?

Attached is a subsisting order of the Federal High Court in Lagos made on the 8th day of November, 2023 by Hon. Justice Bogoro in the fundamental rights suit we filed restraining the IGP and the Nigeria Police Force from arresting, rearresting or detaining my client; except on the express order of a court of competent jurisdiction if she is served with a summons or arraignment notice and she fails to appear in it.

We emphasize again that no charge, summons or arraignment notice has been served on Chioma.

The police has not appealed against the restraining order and the order has not been vacated.

It is a sad commentary that the Nigeria Police is beginning the year on a note of lawlessness. I condemn this reckless act of impunity. I call on the IGP to abide by the rule of law and direct his officers to allow the court to handle the case in line with due process.

My client is presumed innocent of any charge filed against her by virtue of Section 36 (5) of the 1999 Constitution.

This is an action that can only be tolerated in a banana republic.

SO, this is a United Nations registered drone reportedly found in a Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) village, loaded with 900 pounds of pure gold, guns, and parachutes.

For a brief moment, think about this…this is the same UN that our brothers in DRC protested against and they lost their lives in dozens.

In my Igbo culture, they say “whenever a child cries and points consistently in one direction, if his mother is not there, his father is sure to be there.” In other words, our people who kicked the UN out in the Sahel region basically kicked out corruption and institutional sabotage on a grand scale. It means our DRC brethren who have been crying for the UN to end their dark missions in that country and leave, were not just being paranoid, but intuitively protective of their commonwealth…

You see, some of us are not really surprised but that’s not the question. The question is, what exactly is the United Nations doing in much of AFRICA? How does the UN explain these incidences. Yes, there are some good attributed to the UN on the continent, but to a much greater extent, it’s been from one intolerable scandal to another unbearable sabotage of instituted authorities on the continent. Are we ever gonna get answers to these troubling questions? I very much doubt it.

But to Africans I say, your destiny is now in your hands. When you remember Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, even Central African Republic…remember and be encouraged that it is possible. Freedom is possible and you alone can make it happen.
