The Bar Council of India’s decision to halt the enrolment of NALSAR’s 2026 graduating students as advocates, reportedly because they opposed Chief Justice of India Surya Kant being invited as Chief Guest, is grossly disproportionate, deeply troubling, and prima facie indefensible.

Students cannot be collectively penalised for expressing dissent over a ceremonial invitation. The Cockroach Janta Party condemns this order.

If Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra does not withdraw this order immediately, then all law students, advocates, senior lawyers, and well-meaning young cockroaches will protest outside Bar Council’s office and Mishra’s official residence, and their respective states.

Mr. Mishra, the order has NOT been fully withdrawn. The part which seeks names of the students and orders for an “inquiry” against them for their peaceful dissent still stands, as per your own new letter.

IMMEDIATELY withdraw that entire letter.

No student at NALSAR should face any inquiry or witch hunt for their democratic dissent against the Chief Justice of India.

You are no one to threaten this. Stay within the four corners of your official duties and stop threatening the students with “inquiry”.

Withdraw the letter in full and guarantee NO ACTION against our brilliant law students of NALSAR.

The call for protest outside the BCI and Mr. Mishra’s official residence STANDS until this demand is fulfilled.

Do you know where this breathtakingly beautiful scenic place is located?

This is the famous Cable Bridge in Hyderabad, Telangana, just above the famous Durgam Cheruvu lake.

The water, the greenary - ain’t it beautiful ❤️

BUT

This won’t be the same anymore. That beautiful expansive greenary is going to vanish soon.

WHY?

Because Telangana government that has an inherent hatred towards trees decided it will be a good real estate piece. (Remember 450 acres of Kancha Gachibowli forest, Urdu University and even KBR park..?)

They want to sell two parcels of this lush green catchment area of Durgam Cheruvu lake- a 5.25 acre plot & 5.38 acre plot. The auction will happen on 21st August & 28th August.

BUT WHY?
Because…Money baby! Money!
The base price per acre is fixed at Rs 175 crore which will come up to a minimum Rs 1860 crore for the government 🙏🏽.

FUN FACT?

The rocks here survived 250 crore years - older the Himalayas and the Dinosaurs. They are called the “Heritage Precincts”. After 250 crore years, the rocks are going to get crushed because who cares? Also the government had an expert committee that changed the map & definition!

SUPER FUN FACT?

These parcels of lands are in the lake catchment area, which means they shouldn’t be touched. It is in the lake buffer zone so no construction should happen. The same government brought in HYDRAA and demolished hundreds of homes of poor & middle class saying “lake protection”.

Will they now come to demolish in this land once construction happens or is it okay because the government sold it?

PS: If you are in Hyderabad, go spend an evening there at Durgam Cheruvu before it is full of construction dust and dead trees.

Both Airtel and Jio are running a Scam in the name of “Unlimited 5G” plans.

Even when you are in a 5G coverage area, your 4G data gets consumed, and once it is exhausted, you have to make an additional 4G data recharge to use the internet.

They have increased recharge plan prices multiple times by promising unlimited 5G data, but they are not fulfilling that promise. Instead, they are looting more money by forcing customers to purchase additional 4G data packs.

And the Government, which is supposed to take action, remains silent because their party receives funding from these companies. 😑
