@CodyFandom_ I'm not sure I want to touch the MMO era too closely OR Revan, since both are kinda messy due to video game conceits.

Give me a show following Ulic Qel-Droma or something. Genuinely think the story would do super well in the multi season animated format.

@ZontarAlt it feels really weird that we still haven't gotten anything either. i'm not a "OMG DISNEY IS GONNA KILL THE SEQUEL CANON" freak, but it's pretty palpable they find the films somewhat uncertain in comparison to repeatedly drawing on the PT/OT repeatedly.

@ZontarAlt i think the issue is that disney didn't bother to cultivate that level of following among fans, and now the relatively small groups of diehard sequel fans don't have the numbers to meaningfully control the narrative about the films like prequel superfans did.

@extroiergamer @whyamIhere2k Probably also worth interrogating what percent of the cast of fighters is female or not. Some non-shonen (but still fight focused) animes pass this mark, like Hellsing, but I can't think of a proper battle shonen that has anywhere near 50% female combatants that're also relevant.

@TabrisSing this would've been a really fun game that amounted to absolutely generational character assassination at the hands of george lucas and denied us one of (IMO) the few actually compelling long-form character arcs in animated star wars history.

he wants to restore the monarchy, supports the republic, but is willing to resort to violence on behalf of those goals.

this is somewhat unique, but people def mischaracterize his politics

@KK10PL It's not the most egregious character assassination of Revan out there, but it is one of many.

Plus, I just kind of dislike in general that they decide Revan was some specific dude instead of leaving them vague and masked. I don't think he's more interesting for it.
