@nhathcoat413@CalPolyBSB Same as it ever was for west coast teams, but it doesn’t matter. They’ll probably travel today or tomorrow and have plenty of time to get acclimated. No excuses needed.
@KurosawaDreams@USC_Baseball@Jackbasseer You expect him to not be excited to hit a walk off homerun? WTF. Your team lost to SDSU in a midweek, stuff happens, still 21-1.
@SeminolesR@haonsregge@d1baseball@NettingPros Texas deserves to be where they are for sure, no argument here. These pollsters just don’t want to move teams because it’s in their head that they shouldn’t… no other reason. Your point about LSU is exactly right.
@SeminolesR@haonsregge@d1baseball@NettingPros They should be in the top 20, probably somewhere 15-20. Going 15-0 against any level of D1 competition with the pitching staff doing what they are is better than #25. In fact, they should probably just swap spots with TCU. TCU got annihilated in the regional last year.
@SeminolesR@haonsregge@d1baseball@NettingPros Buddy you don’t know me. It’s a flawed but objective metric that exists. They aren’t ranked high because of the pre-conceived ideas of the voters just like every other college sport with polls. It’s way more to do with pollster psychology than team quality and on field results.
@SeminolesR@haonsregge@d1baseball@NettingPros 4 game road sweep of Cal Poly, a regional team from last year. Strength of schedule is 40th, Texas is 106th. What they’ve done so far is way more impressive than 25th in the country.
@wilnerhotline He hasn’t been completely out of coaching, but I think your point about making or breaking Riley’s tenure at SC is correct. I happen to think it works.
