Coming soon; a blog and podcast. This post has a little, 10 min techno sample mix embedded, plus the podcast URL to put into your podcatcher app. https://t.co/ETZwA2XCy9
I'll post some music soon I promise. Got some #techno faves in the works; one take done, but I want to refine it. Think KAS:ST and other melancholic, thumping sounds, plus a lot of modern acidic produce.
More app recommendations. As a die-hard Apple fanboy, I find it really difficult to take other browsers seriously. Thought I'd die on Mount Safari. I'm trying out @brave's browser and beta search. Both have proven to be amazing. The clincher was this: https://t.co/f9ojmQiDtI
Really pleased with @algoriddim's djay Pro AI. Works with my @PioneerDJglobal DDJ-RB that was originally only usable with rekordbox; and so much more polished than RB, in loads of ways. I recommend you try a trial. It handles tracks with slippery BPMs better than any other app.
I just discovered that Fission (by @RogueAmoeba) has a Normalize feature that, when applied to a whole recorded mix, brings the sound levels back up to a decent volume. I've founds most DJ apps bring the levels down through auto gain and this corrects the quiet mixes that result.
@domandroland You made my day with the Sandgun remaster (https://t.co/jovsua7M0g). Heartfelt gratitude towards seeing it appreciated again. Plus a whole new generation of heads will be introduced; just a great move there. Right on. Sounds amazing.
I started a 12-hour #djay AI automix of some Doom Metal until I realised, about an hour in, that the transitions were in terrible taste when considering the music's content. Nothing against the app, just my choice of composition. Meh. It was only an experiment.
