Ever. Because it's built on top of two assumptions:

1) Man is basically good and getting better, so he doesn't need incentive structures toward things like hard work, altruism, responsibility, etc. People will just naturally do those things because Mankind is basically "good and getting better" (whereas the Bible says Mankind is basically bad and getting worse)

2) The same people who laugh at you for believing in an all-powerful, all-good God think if we just made the government all-powerful, everything will be all-good :)

Christians do not measure policies by their INTENTIONS; they measure policies by their OUTCOMES.
