@redconmike@sarahlorae@RepDonBacon SNAP helps low income families get groceries. 1 in 5 kids receive SNAP benefits.
And school lunches should be free.

Don’t you dare call yourself fiscally responsible while you’re living off the interest of tax breaks that working people paid for. @RepDonBacon if you’re in Congress to serve yourself instead of the public, congrats, you’re the one living off government benefits.
If your voting record reads like a gift registry for billionaires, maybe you’re the one gaming the system. And if you’re gutting Medicaid so your donors can buy another yacht, then I’m sorry to break it to you, but you’re the welfare queen.
@RepDonBacon You’re stealing healthcare from 7.6 million Americans to give your super-rich buddies a huge tax break. People will die because you think the top 1% deserve to get $63,000 more a YEAR.
@RepDonBacon@RepDonBacon how can you pretend to justify this vote?
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
Shame on @RepDonBacon for voting to cut Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP to give more money to the wealthy and deport tax-paying immigrants.
The top 1% will gain $63,000 a year, while the 20% poorest families will pay $800 more in taxes.
Notice how it’s always “the Bible must inform our laws!” until it comes to welcoming the immigrant, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords, or loving our neighbors.
All so we can give tax cuts to the wealthy. How about we ask the rich to pay their fair share instead of taking away food and medicine from lower income families?
@RepDonBacon why did you vote to cut essential services for your constituents? Nebraskans deserve better.
$880B from Energy & Commerce (Medicaid)
