Literally what I have been trying to explain to family and fiends who turned on me. The only difference between them and I, was that I took that extra step to find context. I didn’t just go with the soundbytes. When I did that, I realized Trump wasn’t the monster everyone was saying he was. Flawed, but not a monster. I eventually realized that they wanted to stop Trump because he wasn’t part of the hustle and was going to expose it. This is why I voted for him. Not because I like him or he is a saint. Trump literally exposed the media, the Dems and republicans for scamming us for years. Showed us why long standing problems never get solved. Once again, when I realized the system was lying to us, Trump was the grenade I threw at it. I have no regrets.

The only thing keeping people who turned on me from seeing what I see is their pride and fear of losing a sense of community with people just as impacted as them.

I have never been afraid to stand alone.

So they disappear.

If your project is to weaken institutions built on shared civic identity and capitalism, assimilation is the enemy.

The Atlantic just ran a piece called "The Age of Reading Is Over." We are literally losing the ability to read anything longer than an Instagram post. This is not good. Think about history for a second. During the slave trade, what was the one thing punishable by death? Teaching a slave to read. Why? Less than half of American adults read a single book in 2022. It’s so bad that a staffer at Harvard actually complained that assigning books to students is "arbitrarily withholding information" because it forces them to use a "difficult medium." Let that sink in. IVY LEAGUE STUDENTS have a hard time reading something and then paraphrasing it.

If we stop reading, we go straight back to the dark ages. We'll be sitting around waiting for a government agency or an AI script to tell us what the Constitution means through a paraphrased post on X.
