Please read our paper published in Chemical Science about a supramolecular polymer formed only from water and a small amphiphilic crown ether with adhesive properties down to -80 C. The state of water was characterized in detail by BDS and FSC @BAMResearch@FranEmmerling
Please check out our new publication about bio-based sustainable polymer composites. Especially the role of lignin extracted from wood is high-lighted. It is worth to mention that M. Farooq was a former master student @BAMResearch@FranEmmerling@MatChIng_BAM
Please checkout our new paper about coarse grained simulations on ionic liquid crystals out this week. It was a fruitful cooperation of the university Mainz, the IPF at Dresden and @BAMResearch
Please read our new work out this week. The carried out work is part of the PhD thesis of Hassan Omar @BAMResearch@MatChIng_BAM The paper is published by J. Chemical Physics (doi: 10.1063/5.0223415)
Polymer microstructures get popular as flexible components in biomed applications. Mechanical stability of 3D-printed multiphoton structures MPL is significantly improved by interpenetrating polymer networks IPN, pairing acrylates with epoxies. Pls. read https://t.co/PqsprJBAiX
Please check our new paper in ACS Nano https://t.co/ns7aHvVcvK. It was shown that ionic liquid crystals from beautiful nanowires when filled to nanochannels with high relevance for applications @BAMResearch@MatChIng_BAM@Flaming_Star59@FranEmmerling We also got the issue cover.
Please check out our recent research paper published in Macromolecules. The topic is polymer based membranes for green separation processes in chemistry and technology.

Today Farnaz Emamverdi @BAMResearch FB 6.6 defended her PhD thesis at TU Berlin. The topic of the thesis was high performance polymers for green separation processes within Polymers 3R. Members of the commission were Prof. Fleck, Prof. Auhl and me. @MatChIng_BAM
Evidence for confined phonons by inelastic neutron scattering measured at the neutron time-of-flight spectrometer FOCUS at Paul Scherrer Institut. Thanks @psich_de for the beam time and the colleagues at JCNS-1 Jรผlich and @BAMResearch
Hassan Omar, a PhD student of Dr. P. Szymoniak and me at BAM 6.6 was honored by the "Best Young Researcher Award" at International Conference Time of Polymers and Composites Congratulations to Hassan @BAMResearch@MatChIng_BAM
Carbon Nanomembranes are atomically flat synthetic carbon materials with of applications in high technology like nanofiltering or nanoelectronics. With experiments @BAMResearch we showed that polymers can irreversible adsorbed on it which opens further applications.
