In my coverage of the Tyrone Phifer case, I made an error when I listed Sergeant Imondi’s first name.

The correct name is Sergeant Daniel Imondi of the Nassau County Police Department.

The officers named in this case are Sgt. Daniel Imondi, Officer Patrick McGrath, Officer Quinn R. Knauer, Officer Richard J. Fosbeck, and Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder.
