@komugimugirin Another part is that the magic in Witch Hat Atelier is meant to be very animated/fluid. You’ll see what I mean in Episode 5, but it’s sometimes hard to imagine exactly how this magic is expressed when you have still frame panels. (4/4)

@komugimugirin How the anime animates the calligraphy involved in casting the magic reminds me about how *important* calligraphy is to magic in the show. I feel like you see less of that in the manga because the magic symbols are usually completed most; you don’t see the process as much. (3/N)
