A star is born. This is Marshawn Camese. He is brilliant. He needs to run for office. Watch him eviscerate a Louisiana MAGA state representative. Looooove him!
Hey Alberta... what happened to the Auditor General Report on Corrupt Care?
Does AB have ANY independent bodies monitoring govt anymore? Do we even care anymore???
@AuditorGenAB you out there? you doing your job to protect Albertan's and our taxpayer money?

😂
Let me be VERY clear for those of you in the back. If bringing down the largest child sex trafficking ring in our known history will "collapse the government as we know it," then the government as we know it needs to collapse.
Oh the irony 🤦🏾♀️
My latest is out via Indigenous Insider:
Here is your audit, Smith.
Audit the $315 billion in royalties collected from treaty territories whose owners received zero percent of it. Audit the 57 years of oil sands production in Treaty 8 territory — on land the federal government knew contained oil when they signed that treaty in 1899. Audit the 21 years First Nations were legally prohibited from hiring lawyers while governments wrote the laws that stripped their resources. Audit Fort Chipewyan, where Alberta collected $50 million a month from the Kearl mine while a toxic spill went unreported to downstream Indigenous communities for nine months. Audit the First Nations Development Fund, where Alberta takes 30% of casino revenue generated on reserve land, funnels it into general provincial programs, and calls it generosity toward the people who generated it. Audit the consultation capacity funding — $85,000 to $125,000 per community — handed to nations expected to meaningfully participate in a regulatory regime overseeing billions of dollars of extraction from their territories. Audit the Natural Resources Transfer Act itself: a constitutional instrument written in 1930, without First Nations’ consent, without their lawyers, without their knowledge of its full implications, and without a single clause guaranteeing them a share of the wealth buried in their own land.
That is the accountability that matters here.

Alberta has the fastest-rising auto insurance prices in Canada.
Alberta also has by far the fastest-rising electricity prices in Canada.
Alberta is about to introduce pay for play healthcare.
Dear separatists: it isn't Ottawa making your life more expensive.
It's Edmonton.
🚨 BREAKING:
World-famous US rapper Eminem:
"Donald Trump is a narcissist who uses his power to spread hatred and racism, and he could drag America into a nuclear disaster. You're either with him or with me, because it's impossible to be on both sides."
Imagine how much you’d have to hate Canada to say we have a bad PM because he’s not quickly landing a deal with a capricious, insane, pedo, greedy, lying, petulant baboon. Imagine blaming the revered, educated and accomplished PM but not Donald. This is why Cons are reviled.
WOW. Big news.
The Assembly of Treaty Chiefs just dropped a bomb on Danielle Smith.
Treaty 6, 7 & 8. United. Unanimously calling for an RCMP and Auditor General investigation into whether the Premier and her UCP government committed TREASON under Section 46 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The Chiefs met on Treaty 7 territory in Calgary on June 16 and voted as one — pushing a separation referendum that puts Canada’s sovereignty at risk, trampling the Treaty relationship, ignoring privacy violations affecting millions, and opening the door to foreign interference. That’s the case they’re laying out.
And they’re going back to the source. When Treaty was signed, the Northwest Mounted Police — now the RCMP — made a promise: protect First Nations, protect these Territories. The Crown guaranteed peace and goodwill in exchange for sharing this land.
The Chiefs are saying: eff around and find out.

Manitoba becomes the 1st province in Canada to mandate nurse-to-patient ratios.
As a former ward nurse who often cared for 8 patients at a time, the move toward a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio is great news. This means safer care for patients & a more sustainable nursing workforce.
Rick, you spent months telling readers I was fighting Danielle Smith too much and had NDP cooties. Now you're telling them that I'm too nice to her.
At this rate, next week's column will accuse me of being Danielle Smith. Get it together, man.
