@BennyWHK@TheLaikYobaz So a few major problems. the US didn’t create or invent democracy or freedom. they were already out in the wild before we existed. Second how do you embargo a concept? Maybe you should end your personal embargo on education and intelligence and stop spewing nonsense.
You don't need a corrupt Supreme Court's ruling to know absolute immunity would make a president a king/dictator. Now it's up to us to channel our rage, disgust & disappointment to achieve record turnout & make sure we win by a far larger margin than last time.

If a rapist made it clear that for the rest of their life they would do everything in their power to rape and kill your daughter, would you listen to people telling you to negotiate a set of terms with that rapist which make it easier for them to rape and kill your daughter?
Right now, Hamas is that murderer-rapist and Israel is being pressured to go easy on this murderer-rapist who has always made it clear that its intent is to murder and rape Jews
Intent matters
Until the deeply toxic racism in Palestinian society is confronted - and until Palestinians abandon their culture of supremacy that refuses to accept Jews living autonomously in the Middle East - there will always be conflict
If we’re to ever have the peace that sane people want, there needs to be a long campaign of detoxifying Palestinian society of its racist elements after Hamas are militarily defeated
This needs to be coupled with a complete overhaul or replacement of international aid agencies in the Gaza Strip which have become functionaries of Hamas
Online activists who are pro-Hamas will try to make you think it is racist or genocidal to call out the racist and genocidal aspirations of Hamas
Clearly this is a trick of people who don’t actually want peace in the region. They want simply to destroy Israel. Recognise them when they engage in this mischief.
If you genuinely want peace, help work towards creating the conditions in which the intention of Gazan society is peace for everyone in the region
I questioned college presidents from Harvard, UPenn, and MIT about the disturbing rise of antisemitism on college campuses across America as a result of Oct 7.
Guess what happened when I asked what they were doing on campus to address antisemitism? I got SILENCE.
Watch ⬇️
The presidents of @Harvard, @MIT, and @Penn were all asked the following question under oath at today’s congressional hearing on antisemitism:
Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate [your university’s] code of conduct or rules regarding bullying or harassment?
The answers they gave reflect the profound moral bankruptcy of Presidents Gay, Magill and Kornbluth.
Representative @EliseStefanik was so shocked with the answers that she asked each of them the same question over and over again, and they gave the same answers over and over again.
In short, they said:
It ‘depends on the context’ and ‘whether the speech turns into conduct,’ that is, actually killing Jews.
This could be the most extraordinary testimony ever elicited in the Congress, certainly on the topic of genocide, which to remind us all is:
“the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group”
The presidents’ answers reflect the profound educational, moral and ethical failures that pervade certain of our elite educational institutions due in large part to their failed leadership.
Don’t take my word for it.
You must watch the following three minutes. By the end, you will be where I am.
They must all resign in disgrace.
If a CEO of one of our companies gave a similar answer, he or she would be toast within the hour.
Why has antisemitism exploded on campus and around the world?
Because of leaders like Presidents Gay, Magill and Kornbluth who believe genocide depends on the context.
To think that these are the leaders of Ivy League institutions that are charged with the responsibility to educate our best and brightest.
On the bright side, our congressional leaders deserve accolades for showing tremendous leadership and moral clarity in their statements, by the questions they asked, and the respectfulness with which they conducted the hearing.
It was a masterclass of how our government and democracy should operate.
If you have time, please watch the entire hearing. Throughout the hearing, the three behaved like hostile witnesses, exhibiting a profound disdain for the Congress with their smiles and smirks, and their outright refusal to answer basic questions with a yes or no answer.
Here is Robert De Niro’s full statement about how Donald Trump should NEVER be president again:
“I’ve spent a lot of time studying bad men. I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty.
Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly.
I see an evil one.
Over the years, I’ve met gangsters here and there. This guy tries to be one, but he can’t quite pull it off. There’s such a thing as “honor among thieves.” Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong.
Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story — but — they have a moral code, however warped.
Donald Trump does not. He’s a wannabe tough guy with no morals or ethics. No sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them.
We New Yorkers got to know him over the years that he poisoned the atmosphere and littered our city with monuments to his ego. We knew first hand that this was someone who should never be considered for leadership. We tried to warn the world in 2016.
The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination. Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world.
We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags.
The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior. That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse.
Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously.
So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America:
This is our last chance.
Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator.
And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided.
So what do we do about it? I know I’m preaching to the choir here. What we’re doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls. We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House.
They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice. Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them.
Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect. Let’s not talk about “democracy.” “Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it.
Let’s talk about right and wrong. Let’s talk about humanity.
Let’s talk about kindness. Security for our world.
Safety for our families.
Decency.
Let’s welcome them back.
We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this “Stop Trump Summit.”
@CollinRugg I don’t agree with them BUT this isn’t the US capitol building and they aren’t violating laws trespassing or destroying anything. The video depicts a peaceful protest. I don’t agree with their views but this not comparable to the mob and intent on Jan 6th.
@NanaS88970929@politvidchannel Except that there’s no evidence to support that. Oh wait you’re an MGT fan. You support someone who asked about the tax situation during the ice age. No one cares what you have to say. The only thing dumber than MGT is her supporters.
