One more thing I really want to clear up is The Outcasts. We partnered with The Outcasts to help launch and promote https://t.co/3wme2Uw4rL, but he did NOT build the website. The development and actual work of putting the site together was done on our side. I’m not saying that to shift responsibility. If you have an issue with https://t.co/3wme2Uw4rL, direct it towards us and the people actually responsible for building it. Please don’t turn this into hate towards him. Also, regarding the rewards/privacy accusations: We will NEVER sell or send your email to 2nd or 3rd party providers. We only store it ourselves so you can make an account and use the rewards you’ve earned from the website. We don’t even have a way for users to pay us anything right now, so seeing people accuse us of some shady money-making scheme is honestly insane to me. The reason I implemented the rewards system is because of all the DLC ARK is releasing and the amount of stuff Wildcard is putting behind paywalls. I wanted to give something back to the people using the site. I respect Dododex, I respect Dan, and I respect the ARK community. I’m sorry to anyone we genuinely offended, and I hope this clears up where we’re actually coming from.

Hey everyone, we’ve been seeing a massive amount of backlash over using Dododex’s creature images and over the fact that the site has been made using information publicly available from other wikis. We sincerely apologize to each and every owner we offended. In the end, we just wanted to make a site for the people. As an ARK player myself, I’ve always found the UI, layout, and overall way of finding stuff confusing and annoying, which is why we even started https://t.co/3wme2Uw4rL. With all that said, it seems like a lot of the hate is because we’re obviously a competitor to Dododex, which is very loved in the community. I love the site as well, don’t get me wrong. But at the end of the day, we’re just here for the players. There are so many features on https://t.co/3wme2Uw4rL that other sites don’t have, like the server browser, ARK tools, full engram trees, skill trees, etc. I just want to make it clear that I never meant to offend anyone. As for the rewards/privacy policy: we will NEVER send your email to any 2nd or 3rd party providers. We only store it ourselves so you can use it to make an account and claim the rewards you’ve been getting from using the website. It’s honestly insane to me that people can accuse us of shady stuff when we don’t even have a way for users to pay us anything. We only collect emails for the accounts, as mentioned. I also want to explain why I implemented the rewards system in the first place. With all the DLCs ARK is releasing and the stuff Wildcard is putting behind a paywall, it can be pretty discouraging for ARK players. I wanted to give something back to the people using the site. I hope this clears some stuff up. Again, we’re not denying that the site uses publicly available information or images that aren’t copyrighted and belong to Wildcard, since it’s their game. Yes, the site has been assembled using public information already available on the web.
