So grateful for what God did at the retreat for the Georgia baptist campus based and church based collegiate leaders! So many epic conversations about how we can multiply disciples on campus and accelerate evangelistic momentum! Not only did we have encouraging and helpful discussions but there was a Holy Spirit inspired buzz and excitement in room as He was moving in our hearts giving us faith to believe God for an abundant harvest this Fall and beyond! Join me in praying that these men and women will lead out with courageous and zealous faith making it hard to go to hell on their campuses!
“Brethren, do something; do something, do something! While societies and unions make constitutions, let us win souls. I pray you, be men of action all of you. Get to work and quit yourselves like men. Old Suvarov's idea of war is mine: `Forward and strike! No theory! Attack! Form a column! Charge bayonets! Plunge into the center of the enemy! Our one aim is to win souls; and this we are not to talk about, but do in the power of God!” Charles Spurgeon
Most news outlets attempt to answer the question: “What are the worst things happening on Earth today?”
It’s a big planet! Obviously, some bad things are happening somewhere at any given time, but focusing relentlessly on those does not give an accurate picture of reality.
Great quote: “To be ‘cool’ is to know but pretend like you don’t, to be an insider and an outsider all at once. It also means to enjoy yourself, but not too much. To be different, but not too different. It takes a lot more work to be cool…” — @tartanhobi https://t.co/Gm8o9qkN4D
It’s Official…Biden’s America has devolved into what appears to be a pre-Magna Carta Feudal Society, where the King tells the Serfs what to do. The US has a Constitution, and supposedly has checks and balances on this nonsense. I certainly hope this is stopped.
“People who regularly listened to the opposite opinions did not adjust their views…because for many people social media has become a place where they are curating a self. And therefore they see opposing views as attacks on their identity (31).” https://t.co/fTZ6IiID6f
Really enjoying this book. He says most people read the Bible for theology or spiritual growth, but few love to actually sit down and read it. Sure, it’s an acquired taste, but it’s a taste 10x worth acquiring.
