ASF-NIMS via @officialcooumsa Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Medical Students Association celebrated the Maternal and Child Health Week by enlightening women in the market on the topic of cervical and breast cancer, risk factors, prevention and screening and vaccination.

Items were also distributed to them and further more in the Gynaecology Ward of the Hospital.

ASF- UDUMSA organized her outreach on Maternal and Children week yesterday, 1st November. A talk was delivered at Maryam Abacha hospital, Sokoto where they were able to enlighten the women and mothers about maternal and child health.

THROWBACK TO OUR MATERNAL HEALTH OUTREACH
Auwal Shanono Foundation- ASF, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Medical Studentsโ Association had her outreach at Maryam Abacha Women and Children teaching hospital, Sokoto
while the children had some snacks shared among them.
On the other hand, on the same day, ASF- UDUMSA was able to arrange an awareness rally among medical students, where we were able to share a thing or two things regarding cancers in women such as Self- Breast examination
