The popularity of Pentecostalism in the US makes me wonder how the movement translated globally. It is a fairly new movement but shares a lot of similar ideals to other churches. Does it decentralization help it's movement globally? Is it still decentralized? #REL2121S18

@vinny_spitzer It is definitely the dominant and has always been the dominant religion in the US. A lot of these Christian movements have roots in previously established Christian denominations. #REL2121S18

@ama16s_ What I gained from the lecture was that his views changed a lot due to circumstance. There were points in his life where he benefited from changing his religious belief. I think it is also possible that drugs may have influenced his decisions. #REL2121S18

@audreyytatum I disagree. While communists' atheist views played a role in scaring the nation, the war and LBJ's speech was one spinning the war as a fight for freedom. Stating that if we do not move forward liberally and fight for rights, not necessarily religion, we will crumble. #REL2121S18
