Big news: Google is rolling out AI performance reports in search console.
You'll now be able to see how your site performs inside AI overviews and AI mode.
The new reports show:
- Impressions from generative AI features
- Top pages cited by AI Search
- Device and country breakdowns
- Trends over time
It doesn't show clicks or queries yet but this is a great first step.
It’s rolling out first to a subset of UK sites (global expansion coming). There's also a new test toggle that lets you block your content from AI responses without hurting regular search rankings.
This is huge for anyone optimizing for AI search
