Is this how News Laundry and Abhinandan Sekhri are bypassing Foreign funding from the USA-based Thakur family foundation via a proxy company?

They have received funding from the USA in Toque Content Solutions, which has the same directors as Newslaundry.

Is this why they are hyperactive for another Thakur-funded Saurav Das and CJP?

Shekhri is the same person who started an NGO, PCRF, with Arvind Kejriwal on Ford Foundation money via the Magsaysay Award.

🚨 BIG: META HIT WITH ₹5,000 CRORE PENALTY

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has suffered a major legal setback after a New Mexico court ordered it to pay $567 million (around ₹5,000 crore) in a case alleging harm caused to young users through its platforms.

The development comes as Meta is facing intense scrutiny in India, with ongoing questions over platform accountability, content moderation, algorithmic amplification, and compliance with Indian laws.

If govt wants to grill Saurav Das, I can provide a watertight case against him.

In October 2021, Saurav Das received $3,381 from the US-based Thakur Family Foundation.

On their official website, they clearly state that this money was given to Saurav Das to report on issues related to public health, and they have shared links to two of his articles.
Now the interesting part:

The first article is a hit-job piece against the Yogi government, accusing it of neglecting development work for Muslims. This article has since been removed.

The second article is on the Pegasus software, another clear hit-job piece.

So the Thakur Foundation itself has confirmed that it funded Saurav Das under the pretext of “public health” to target the Indian government. I also have the confirmation of receipt from Das.

If this was a typographical mistake, Saurav Das must explain what public health-related work he actually did to receive this money and how it's possible that this mistake was not corrected in 5 years.
