In the lanes of Panjim, Goa, a cycle slowly winds its way through traffic, carrying pots of freshly cooked food.
On it sits Maria Gomes, fondly known as Maria Aunty, who feeds over 300 stray dogs across the city every single day.
Her journey is as humble as it is heroic. Forced into child labour at a tender age, Maria never had the chance to dream big.
But years later, she found her purpose in an unlikely place, on the streets, among wagging tails and hungry eyes.
She wakes up at dawn, cooks large batches of food, loads her cycle, and sets off on a route she knows by heart.
From abandoned pups to old dogs, no one stops to notice; they all wait for her. Some wag, some follow, some just sit silently, knowing she’ll show up. Because she always does — rain or shine.

NSA Ajit Doval appears in Discovery’s upcoming docuseries Declassified: Operation Sindoor, offering a first-hand look at the decisions, objectives and resolve behind India’s 88-hour response.
On Operation Sindoor, he recalls:
“Prime Minister returned. The Foreign Secretary had come to receive him. Then, at the airport itself, we had a meeting. First, he wanted to know all the facts. And then his first question to me was, who has done it? Who is responsible? He made it very clear who the perpetrators are. I wanted to image it. Thanks to our intelligence agencies, I think they did a brilliant job. And within a very short time, we were able to arrive at the conclusion…”
91% of industries in NCR have failed to comply with PM emission norms. Yet, instead of enforcing accountability, the deadline has been extended.
This delay means more toxic air for millions, especially all our children.
Clean air laws are not optional; they exist to protect lives, not polluters.

If same thing a European country did, you would be writing articles on it.
He is fit. He is a terror among all those milk & food adulterators in Maharashtra now.
Support Tukaram Mundhe sir’s food quality war if you want that to happen in whole India.
All brands fear this man.
Corrupt bureaucrats fear this man.
He was transferred 24 times to break his courage, but he is still wild as a tiger.
This man has the full potential to change the food safety system of India, which has been in a coma for many decades.
Make IAS Tukaram Mundhe the CEO of @fssaiindia and see the change.
One honest man is enough to scare an entire corrupt system.
@balaji25_t Totally Agree your frustration Bro and as they say "No Free Lunch". But, I plead to keep it free for Farmers.... I am majority of your followers are from Hyderabad or cities, so that would n't hurt the economics....Agree on how you validate a farmer, but there should be a way
Restoration Benefit in Health Insurance
It is made to sound simple.
If your cover is exhausted.
The insurer “refills” it, for the remaining part of the year.
You are never without a cover.
Yes, it can be super useful.
But -- only if you know when it works and when it doesn’t. 👇
I compared Fanta sold in France with the one sold in India.
French Fanta contains around 4 teaspoons of sugar.
Indian Fanta contains around 10 teaspoons of sugar.
French Fanta does not contain artificial colours.
Indian Fanta contains artificial colours.
French Fanta contains real oranges.
Indian Fanta does not contain oranges and uses “orange flavours”.
French Fanta contains around 69 calories.
Indian Fanta contains around 168 calories.
Same brand. Same drink. Completely different product.
The question is simple:
Why are healthier formulations possible abroad, but not in India?
INDIANS DESERVE BETTER!
Modi Govt Is Considering Relaxing Airline Regulations For Adani.
IndiGo and Air India have opposed this move, which would give Adani control over both the airports he operates and his new airline.
Stop This Corruption Now !!!
Its the same NY our leaders visit along with a fat delegation of officials and sometimes media personal.. but are selective on what they want to see.. they dont see how NY manages its utilities/garbage/sewage/traffic.. but see how they “develop” their river front..
Now see what NY is doing with data centers…
Meanwhile… #telangana is setting up an exclusive 1500 acres park for #datacenter .. and there is a competition with #andhrapradesh .. #Bengaluru these datacenter s will drain out the last drop of our water.. yet we will not do what NY will do.. Telangana is also planning to pump in 2.5 TMC clean water to flush out pollutants from Musi.. does NY do the same? Or London? 🙄🙄
We are being robbed yet we want “development” what are we leaving behind for the future generations? No trees.. no hills.. no lakes.. no rivers.. no future

Some heroes wear a uniform. Some walk on four feet.
For 34 remarkable years, #Joymala elephant served the forests of #Kaziranga; carrying frontline staff on anti-poaching patrols, standing firm during #wildlife rescue operations, and quietly protecting a landscape that is one of the worlds magnificent landscape.
The last salute.
