1. I understand the political risk and the substantive challenges, but Democrats must do everything they can to block the ICE funding bill in Congress.
You can’t call out the fascism of ICE's actions one day and then vote to fund them the next.
Breaking News: House Democrats released emails in which Jeffrey Epstein alleged that Donald Trump knew of the convicted sex offender's conduct and “spent hours at my house” with a victim. https://t.co/UFebMWrYr1
A top Republican in Congress just called millions of Americans terrorists.
The last No Kings protests saw 4-6 million people turn out. They were peaceful. They were joyful. There were American flags everywhere.
Those of us who will be participating next weekend in what Emmer calls a "hate rally" for "terrorists" love our country - particularly its promise that we're all created equal, that we all have the right to speak freely, to enjoy equal protection under the law, to believe what we want, and to choose our leaders without fear of reprisal.
The No Kings protests are happening because Emmer and Trump and his regime are trampling on those rights and freedoms.

If this is how ICE will treat your elected officials in a hospital while being videotaped, imagine the brutal force they are using elsewhere when no one is watching. This is a blatant attack on due process and constitutional rights.
I was sent this by a Georgian this morning. 2025 premiums vs 2026 premiums for someone making $65k a year.
Republicans in Washington did this.
This is what I'm fighting to stop. This is what’s at stake in this shutdown fight.
It’s happening. The takedown of Jimmy Kimmel is likely the start of a campaign to use the murder of Charlie Kirk as a pretext to use the power of the White House to wipe out Trump’s critics and his political opponents.
But we aren’t powerless. We can mobilize and organize. Now.
In the last few years we've seen:
- The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer
- The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC
- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk
Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.
The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.
