The State of Texas should adopt a Universal Accessibility policy and funding strategy following the lead of @METROHouston.
I want a @TxDOT with a fully funded ADA Sidewalk Program, with the ability to allocate hundreds of millions statewide on transit & pedestrian improvements.

ASH+LIME President @RikAdamski shares some thoughts on the #ThirdPlaces where we can linger, connect with others, and enjoy the lives of our communities! https://t.co/xAnnEspCvg
We'll have much more to write and say on the topic in coming months. Stay tuned!

Tapping into the hive mind:
What are some small rural communities (population under 5,000) with innovative comprehensive plans? Bonus points for any that are in Texas and/or anticipating (or experiencing) explosive growth.
We had a great time at our first Neighborhood Development Happy Hour in 16 months! Our happy hour was held at the Libertine Bar in Dallas’ Lower Greenville and we had about 20 people show up, with a mix of new and old visitors!

The pandemic has brought many changes to our cities, some permanent and some only temporary. What changes are you not ready to give up just yet?

What's your favorite example of a community that has successfully created outdoor spaces as a response to COVID? Do you expect these spaces to last in the long-term? #replytweet
We look forward to leading the final Downtown Vision Open House for the Town of Sunnyvale, Texas!
Sunnyvale residents:
Even if you gave feedback before, we'll be discussing new topics based on what we've heard so far. We hope you can make it, or take the online survey.
The third and final Downtown Vision Open House is scheduled for this Thursday, June 17 at Town Hall from 4 - 7 p.m.
If you are unable to attend in person, you are invited to take an online survey that asks for the same input. Visit https://t.co/VzO6XcGhhL to take the survey.
If we want to create more vibrant communities, we have to work backwards from the idea of “how do we create great streets for the human experience?” Business, tourism, and optimism will flow from the result. We need leaders & workarounds for the books that say, “here’s why not!”
After months of preparation, we’re ready to get started in less than 20 minutes! ASH+LIME is excited to be leading the first of three open houses to help the citizens of @TownOfSunnyvale envision a new downtown for their community.
