@Joe_E_Young Spurs revenue in the last 2 years is basically equal to what Villa made in the last 10 years where you spent 3 seasons in the championship! Your player wages are/were double ours (42% vs 96%). Been one of the most profitable football teams under Levy, it’s about time we spent £££
@jaffa_5 It’s a mortgage. It’s no different to having a £250k mortgage (debt),then going out & buying a £50k car!! PSR is about revenue & sustainability. To put it simply for the stupids at the back. Build a bigger stadium, find ways to generate revenue streams & spend only 42% on wages!
@lewisstratford TBF though, we were nowhere near mathematically getting relegated the season before. When we started getting players back in March, the league was sacrificed to try and win Europa and it worked!
@MatthewBowe11 Simple economics for you. MAKE MONEY, SPEND MONEY! It’s to stop it just being an unsustainable arms race to the billionaires with the fattest wallet.
@WestHam_Central I mean you got relegated which has cost you! We gain 2 great players and you nett a loss because of the Fernandes deal, he cost you £38m, you’ve got to pay Southampton £7m sell on so only made £40m on him! Going down costs around £100m!
@WelBeast £200m from owners, having only a 42% wages to revenue, CL money from last season, matchday and events revenue. Expected players sales of probably £150m! We could spend £300m and sell no one and still be fine with PSR!
@ManUnitedMedia You / United can’t talk, you paid £89m for a player that used to be yours and that you had for fee in Pogba! £85m on the human fidget spinner that was Antony and £75m on Sancho! Plus £750k a week in wages!
