Just finished Hurricane Summer by Asha Bromfield and it wrecked me in the best way. A raw, lyrical coming-of-age story about family, identity, and survival in the midst of literal, emotional storms. Jamaica came alive on these pages. Heavy, honest, & beautiful. Highly recommend.
I just finished Hurricane Summer by Asha Bromfield and oh my gosh. Such a beautiful novel. I love a good coming of age story. Family really can make or break you, but it’s how to choose to deal with it that matters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"It was the love of my father that I desperately craved all along. He is the root of my faults and the eye of my disaster".
She craved love from the one person who wasn't willing to give it whole heartedly. Hurricane summer by Asha Bromfield, one of the best books out there.
