Shaibal Das Sumon, a councilor from the Jamalkhan (Ward 21) area in Chittagong, is a member of a minority community in Bangladesh. On August 4th, he, along with his armed group, opened fire on students in areas such as Kazir Dewri, Jamalkhan, and Cheragi Mod. In the context of this incident, Shaibal Das Sumon is not being viewed as a member of a minority community but rather as a leader of the Awami League. In various parts of the country, homes of Awami League leaders have been attacked, and institutions have been vandalized, not because they belong to a minority community but because of their political affiliations. Now, can you acknowledge that Shaibal Das Sumon, as a minority, shot at unarmed students?

Why bring up his minority status after engaging in terrorist activities under the banner of the party and facing consequences?
