Deonte Banks had a "strong performance" in Thursday's OTA, according to Matt Citak:
"It started with some sticky coverage on a deep pass up the sideline. .. Banks then ran it back with another forced incompletion deep down the field in the final period of team drills."
Jameis Winston is one of the great leaders in all of sports today. He was asked about Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump, and used the FIFA World Cup as a way for us to appreciate diversity:
โAre we just gonna get mad and say, โwhy are these people from there coming over here?โ โฆ Or are we gonna embrace the diversity that sport brings us?โ ๐ฏ๐ฏ
Abdul Carter says he will only address Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump one time:
"Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things.
Jaxson is one of our leaders - he's the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us.
If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world.
That doesn't mean that we have to spread hate. That doesn't mean that me and Jaxson hate each other or we have beef. I sit next to Jaxson every day - we're close, we talk.
As long as we make sure we have the same goal as a team, and our goals align - which they do -that's all that matter.
I just want to move past this."
Dart is asked a follow-up on his teammates potentially having an issue with the decision:
"I understand the question, but my statement is all that I have for you guys right now - that's where I'm at"
