That same year, George Soros himself met Imran Khan in New York. They discussed a range of matters—such as Open Society Foundations “modernizing Pakistan’s educational infrastructure” & working with madrassas (??).

Pre-Imran Khan, Open Society was banned in Pakistan (2017). Khan reversed that policy—millions of dollars from Open flowed into Pakistan during his premiership.
